Just in case anybody runs into the same problem I did, secret 80 has a weird bug (I was playing the PAL version, don't know if the US version has it) where you're supposed to get the anti-poison tool to the right of the energy bank first, and after that you pick up the energy bank, otherwise it doesn't register the secret. Great video, by the way!
У меня в игре другой глюк, когда в фонтане , в пещере деревни около Миддендорф берётся способность в обличии человека использовать оружие, которая называется благородный, то переключаясь на человека игра всегда зависает. В видео же секрет номер 26 у него был открыт и не является на том момент секретом, в его видео он у него отрывается чуть позже из того мета где берётся контроль разума. Все 100 секретов так в итоге и не собрал. Но могу рассказать как попасть в локацию с кораблём, если ты ещё не знаешь как туда попасть без взлома
I heard about that secret 2 years ago, and have been trying to get the PC version reliably working on my setup so that I can check it out. Looks awesome!
very well, I had already completed the 100 secrets and got the save on my ps3. won a writing by the excellent acquisition of this super rare friend video.
I agree, I spent so much time in it when I was a kid. Absolutely loved it and also got my brother into it. He also loved it!! Wish I had kept my trusty old Mega Drive just for this game and maybe Eternal Champions too...
Most of these are things that OG Blood Omen players just eventually do, because most normal people never spent the time on the game. The rest were exceptionally in love with the voice acting and theme, myself included.
I remember another secret, maybe i missed it here? In Abernus, there is a secret Room. in it is a altar of sacrifice, where a giant Demon talks to you "Bring me your first born"
As far as I know, that was merely a part of the torture chamber underneath the Cathedral, and not an explicit secret unless noted in the video. The link to the walkthrough I used is in the description, and I got a 100% run as a result. Not sure if any other secrets exist, or if they count above 100%.

great video, thank goodness im replaying the pc version, I remember the load times in psone were horrible and even when they put digital version to download in ps3 still had the load times but now that I see your video I really thank the pc version removed all of that
When I enter during the full moon at the slow time spirit forge the game doesn't count it as a secret. Is this because I went in the backdoor the first time?
Yes. But that's not a problem because the game count both secrets at once when you enter it from the backdoor, so you just don't have to bother about that secret anymore, it's already unlocked.
I don't see it in this video, does anyone know how to do the 3 switches in Kain's mausoleum to unlock the door for the Heart of Darkness spirt forge in Yanoch's house? Like which of them are pushed in?
Thank you for the locations but I'm stuck. Could it be that the game has a glitch that it doesn't recognize one secret that i have found? First i tried to find all the secrets on my own, but i think that was a mistake. I have started to watch your video since i've been in Vorador's Mansion and then i found out from you, that there was a Lost City of Werewolves. Since then i searched for every secret that you have in the video. I have one save file, where i can't get more than 96 secrets unless i get into nemesis' stronghold in the past. I backtracked the whole walkthrough of you and watched your video multiple times, but i can't seem to get the 97th one and the game doesn't show me what number the secret has that i didn't found. it's as if the game doesn't recognize that i have pressed one switch, but i don't know which one. Do you think it's better to start the game anew and search for all the secrets (this time in the right order) or do you know a few places where it's easy to fuck up the conditions? Any tips?
It looks like Secret #97 is the Moon Cave west of The Nemesis' stronghold. If you have found all of the secrets up until this point, you should have a total of 97 before entering the stronghold. After being transported 50 years into the past after the battle between King Ottmar and The Nemesis, go to that exact same cave to get secret #98. The only switch I'm seeing this late in the game is secret #99, which is a switch located in the room where William and Mobius were talking earlier. And last but not least, secret #100 is the moon cave from secret #97 after William is killed. Hope this helps! :-)
I have entered it, but that's the problem, i missed something else from before (before i entered #97 i had found 95 secrets and after that i had 96, and that's my problem)
Yikes...in that case, I could only recommend that you start the game over if you're looking to get all 100 secrets. The video follows the guide I linked in the description and I was able to nail it on my first run, tedious slog that it was! The only places I can think of where a secret could easily be missed would be the City of Werewolves or the Moon Cave before and after time travel. Wish I had a better answer than that, as I'm not aware of any glitches, even in emulated versions of the game on either platform. :-/
I tried to go through every step of your guide until #97, but still, i could'nt bring the counter to 97. Oh well, in the end i got 98 secrets because #100 is even to dumb for my taste. Who can wait 7 days for the mooncave shortly after someone was already in the same cave twice. Is that the official canon, did Kain wait 7 days after he got back from the past?! Of course the vampire race would be extinct after that! xD But still thanks for the help, i think i restart the game and then i go through every secret in the correct order, but not now, for the moment i have enough. :)
Please! At the end of your video : 53 days 8h.... A day is 24hours? You played 1272h for find all secret??? =O I play and finish this game in 2006, I don't rememberwhat hours is one days in this game....
I vaguely remember that a full day takes about 20 minutes, give or take, with day and night being of equal length. I never timed it officially, tho, so I'm not too sure. And I'm pretty sure that the end screen displays in-game hours, but again, not sure. Sorry! :-/ If it's any consolation, i played the game during my off-hours over the course of 2 months, then spent another month gathering the footage for this video. I may consider upscaling the resolution somehow or just rerun the game again in HD capture! :-)
An in-game day is fifteen minutes (per the manual). Additionally, the game itself starts on "Day 4 Dour 14". And this guide is proving quite useful on my run-through of the game as I have not played in years.
The game is still beatable even without finding the secrets, but you will miss out one some things. You can even miss getting the Inspire Hate spell at secret#19 5:43. The portal will take you to the Inspire Hate spell. This spell will cause enemies to turn on each other and kill each other, this will spawn some monsters too and will also kill each other until the spell wears off.
