Hey Everyone just wanted to let you know as of the 5th of Janurary Wildcard decided to change the Lat and Lon coord of the cave locations. Please find below the updated coords. I will be doing an updated guide in the future. Replace the grappling hook with a sinomacrops and not only will you still be able to reach the same artifacts but you also have a built in onyc repellent and a shoulder mount defense system as it auto attacks creatures that get too close making it a lot easier to kill things (oh and it eats chitin so all those bugs will just be more food for it)

Great tutorial! Been really useful to have while I hunt down artifacts to do the bosses with my friend. Only thing I can offer is that for the artifact of the cunning you can fit an argentavis through the cave entrance if you walk, so if you have a high level one use that instead of a grappling hook, more mobile + you can fight the onycs, I died when I tried going on foot.

Was this on an offical server? As if I recall recorrectly you are not able to use flyers in caves on offical

@@Ninjakiller560 yeah, the grappling hook is a good way to cross but combatting the wild creatures inside is a lot harder without a mount.

@@Ninjakiller560 sadly not. I just know the rough location. It's above the ground on the side of the ravine. It's near the world border at the bottom right corner of the desert. I've seen it in game but I forgot to take coords.

You can not build in the caves, so I had to mannually spawn each one in with the following admin commands. Cheat summon gateframe_tek_c Cheat summon gateframe_large_tek_c

in the Volcano Cave ,i found the artifact and loot drop ,but i didn’t see any creatures ,not a single one …weird

Yea the creature spawns are a bit hit and miss on Lost Island. If you are lucky you can go through all the Caves with no creatures encounters

It was an oversight by wc cause it was supposed to be needed originally. Not sure if they will ever make it official but just incase they do we know where it is.

Has the immune artifact changed?.... its not in the volcano cave

No it is still there, all Artifacts have a 30 min spawn/respawn timer. So maybe someone might of grabbed it before you and now it starting its restart cycle or if you are on SP you need to be within render distance for the duration for it to spawn.

Oh wow if there no creatures or drops then Ark is having issues. All the best you can do in that case is just wait for everything to spawn

Which game mode are you in? Singleplayer or on a server ?

@@StarSaturns It is normal for them not to be spawning on singleplayer straight away since Artifacts have a 30min spawn timer once you are within render. So you have 2 options wait 30 mins for it or simply use an admin command to spawn it in.
