From a filmmaker myself, these postcards blew my mind. Not only the idea to put Ukraine, UK and the participanting countries together, but the transitions were indescribably good and smooth. Also they found a way to use this globe effect out of the 360° cams in a useful way, and attached it to a drone. Who ever had this idea for these postcards is an absolute genius👏🏼👏🏼

That globe effect is such a breathtakingly beautiful way of portraying the importance of unity, equality and companionship. Standing up for what's right, isn't always visually pleasing. This time it certainly is, regardless of nationality. We share the soil on this earth. We share each others grief. Sharing our sorrows, makes us cope. last years were so awful, supposedly it was because they couldn’t bring the artists to the locations due to covid… but that was not as big a deal by then. And in 2021, despite not being able to film the artists around Netherlands, they still managed to make the best out of what they had

@@arvinroidoatienza7082 the projection per se was not bad... for the country of singing I need to check, maybe was just another style! But last year Eurovision had an incredible style and quality, I must say. This year is very stunning the importance (in a positive way!) they are giving to Ukraine. UK did an amazing job :) Every ESC has its own taste :)

I knew we were going to get three locations in each postcard and I was excited but this goes beyond my wildest expectations. The theming is just so wonderful and the shots are gorgeous. Thanks for putting up a dedicated video of them and I can't wait to see the rest of them.

The Rotterdam postcards were miles better and that was during the peak of Covid, Turin must’ve had budgetary issues as the postcards were cheap and the LEDs were cheap

Meh, definitely no , Netherlands did far better than Italy the year before and they did their work while the most hard covid times, so It's awesome job of british and ukrainian teams , I'm sure they would have coped with this even with more covid restrictions

I love how they're not using obvious places for the British part of the postcard. After all, if they were, they wouldn't have used a road on the Isle of Wight, a maze in Northern Ireland or Ely Cathedral. It'll be interesting to see what they do for the Ukrainian and British postcards on Saturday.
