I've been saying for the longest time, we need a Mandalorian coaster simalar to F.L.Y. in Phantasia land. This could be an expansion to Galaxy's Edge and could bring a new area to the land. It's also great cause it could bring a new thrill ride to the park, to compete alongside Epic Universe.
I wasn’t expecting replacements to the opening day offerings at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and wasn’t excited about that. I should’ve expected the Tropical Americas area somewhere else at Disney’s Animal Kingdom like a spot adjacent to Dinoland with a couple of rides, some animal exhibits, and a show with live animals while Dinoland gets fixed up with some dinosaur themed attractions and a new roller coaster.
Wow. A whole new generation of technology taking over indeed. ... My AP years of 2009-2015 were still very fun and affordable at Disneyland in Anaheim 🏰, and even in that timeframe, quite a bit of changes happened, mostly in DCA. Fast forward to today, wow. ALL of the Disney Parks around the world will be getting new things 😁
I do expect many of the plans announced to be scrapped. For one thing, while I do think Epic Universe is going to be great, in the end, if it doesn't really impact crowd sizes at WDW as much as they might fear in the Boardroom, then they'll conclude there's no reason to spend the money. That tells me the most pie-in-the-sky ideas with little more than concept art (i.e. Villains Land) are the most likely to be canceled. This definitely could be some use of bureaucracy to get Disney to do something else. And that's fine. I personally am not really a fan of speedway/autopia in the American parks "Tomorrowland"s... a very outdated concept. I do wonder if we still feel that kids are just super excited to drive a car. Maybe... but if not, then maybe it's time to think of some real ideas of Tomorrow that are not Laugh Factory or driving. I'm not saying to remove the Peoplemover because those kinds of relaxing rides are great to have. Removing the Skyways was an absolute mistake. But someday it sure would be nice to put the Tomorrow back in Tomorrowland (on both coasts). As far as the blessing of size. I don't totally disagree, but I think a lot of people don't realize that the Parks are zoned for theme parks. They are actually bureaucratically fenced in more than people realize. There is not just land Disney can add to without all the same headaches of convincing bureaucracies to remove more wetlands or conservation areas, or however they are designated. And Disney's iron grip on these bureaucracies does seem to be far less than it used to be. In the end, I see no point in Cars being here. I do think it might be interesting to shrink the Rivers of America for another Frontierland idea, but Cars is pretty silly. Heck, Cars might have been a more interesting addition to a World of Motion revival at Epcot. In other words, we're watching the theme parks have no themes. Hollywood Studios is no longer about Hollywood or the movies. Animal Kingdom is continuing forward on not really being about nature. And Epcot... I don't even know what the theme is anymore other than come here and eat at temporary booths wherever you can find space. Thanks for your coverage here. I think a villain's land that somehow dovetails with Fantasyland is an absolute win. You could imagine the effect of walking between the lands that could be astounding. That's not what they are talking about doing, but that's something that they might be able to get expansion area approval for. I think it is far and away the most likely to be canceled just based on how little they have beyond concept the tendency of a new CEO to want to increase the bottom line, and just how feelings will change once they see that Universal, while improving and a very interesting place to visit, is not going to overtake Magic Kingdom no matter what they do. @@mraljo9998 what? AK got a whole new land! Two Brand new attraction including encanto and Indiana Jones! Also pirates restaurant and zootopia show. I know it may sounds not so cool to non-encanto fan but AK is definitely much better than Epcot😂
@@mraljo9998 Expect for Guardians, Epcot really doesn’t have anything worth visiting. I don’t think Test Track is gonna be that popular if it’s in MK or HS. And almost every global park has or will have Frozen Land, Tokyo one is even much better than the Frozen ride in Orlando. Also Remy ride exists in Paris and honestly it’s not that good-Actually it’s the worst among all trackless dark rides, compared to Star Wars Rise, Runaway Railway and Zootopia Shanghai. You can’t let Figment ride save Epcot right?😂 Everytime I go to Ecpot they always seem like building something, but hell no they’re not!!!
@@LiYueyang-d1z putting rides aside, animal kingdom is just a mediocre zoo with some good food options. Epcot has the countries, which are really fun and educational, and they also have a huge aquarium. They also have a ducktales game on the Disney app that is roughly 10,000x more fun than the wilderness explorer stuff. Plus, guardians is one of my favorite coasters ever, and there are a bunch of other fun rides that I enjoy, even if they aren’t as good as rides over seas. But, at the end of the day, it all comes down to personal preference
@mraljo9998 but when you're talking about an amusement park, you cannot "put the rides away." If you put Epcot rides away it just becomes replicas of a bunch of countries 😂 boring af. I went for the first time last year and Epcot only worth it for the GG ride. The rest its very mid. Animal Kingdom on the other side have this good vibe to it and each land - apart from Dinoland - makes sense and the rides and attractions are really nice.
No details were given, but from the Cars ride art work, they definitely look like animatronics, plus the other two will most likely include them too! 😁

I’m excited for what’s to come at the Disney parks and on the Disney cruise line I wish they would acknowledge black panther wakanda forever more I feel like it doesn’t much attention like it should so hopefully Disney builds some black panther wakanda forever themed rooms on the new Disney cruise ships or build an attraction based off the movie 🍿 😊
As excited as I am for the new additions for Disney's California Adventure, I do have two questions regarding the Coco and Avatar attractions. First, where could they possibly put them? Second, what do they have not do with the parks California theme? Coco sort of makes sense because of California's Hispanic heritage, but Avatar? I would've put that in the back corner of Disneyland to the left of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge if there's enough room.

I really hope Disney gets to use the full marvel IP in Disney world soon. I understand from a business perspective why universal would want to hold onto it but from a fan perspective that land has been aging for a while now and will continue to become more dated as time passes, meanwhile Disney is making some awesome Marvel rides around the world, Cosmic Rewind is great but we want more here in Florida.
