You can do all 3 of these switches in the one run, just make sure you have all 3 "Outbreak Refined" quests from Ada-1 up to the step with the switches. These also have to be done on legend difficulty, as the quest states. 00:00 - First Pair of Switches in Zero Hour 02:00 - Second Pair of Switches in Zero Hour 02:40 - Final Pair of Switches in Zero Hour
@@liquidsweg4858 That's on you. It literally says they're found right after eachother, which they are. If you can't tell where to find the 2nd and 3rd pairs it's cuz you don't know where you're going. This video is about finding the switches, not showing you the route through the mission.

@@BenjaminLilienfeld i watched this guide a single time and was able to find it all my first attempt. It’s not my fault or this video author’s fault if you’re too dumb to follow basic instructions with video.
Pro tip: For the second set, activate the switch right next to the vent before you hit the first switch. It'll make platforms appear, making it easier to cross the gap to the second switch. I also suggest using the timer freeze glitch, since the last pair of switches can take a while to get properly.
This is so much cooler than the Whisper mission, holy cow. The hidden space between the tower is so detailed and vast I wish I could spend more time exploring the place! Cheers for the videos!
If you run out of time on the second switch have an ally shoot Salvation's Grip under you while you jump. Then you can crouch on the stasis crystal to go back through.

btw you can do the switches in reverse so for third switch you can hit the one up top then just jump down and across to the other switch instead of having to rush jumping up to it.
Use heat rises warlock, and if you pop one and kill all the vandals and the captain while airborne you have a good chunk of it left at the switches, and possibly another grenade available to get 15 seconds more, worked wonders to make the jumping easier
I have a question if someone can answer it? Can you do all the switches first, then start a new game to complete as i can just get all the switches done but run out of time before i can complete the final bossess?
I did the quest hit the last switches. Says i domt have intrinsic. Went back can no longer hit switches. And the puzzle for the ship literally doesnt work
This happened to my clanmate, and it appeared that he hadn’t picked up each individual quest from Ada-1. So, make sure for each intrinsic, you’ve done all the other steps (i.e., killing Fallen in the Cosmodrome). For the puzzle to work, you have to activate the sequences every time by shooting 3 shapes in order with Outbreak.
Do you have to complete the mission killing the boss and all that in the same mission you do the switches? Or can you do the switches in one run and then do the mission on legend?
So there's a glitch that sometimes makes it so that only 1 person in a fireteam can activate the switch. You need to restart the activity for others to grab
I'd remembered to pick up the quest but forgot I had to do the first busywork step killing fallen in a strike, so the third switch didn't work for me. Very annoying.
When on the second pair, you stay...it IS difficult to climb back ...but to keep on for the last pair, isn't It just needed to move on, why climb back up?
He's saying it's difficult to get back up in case you run out of time and need to go back up to hit the switch again. Which is why it's easiest to just advance to the end of that specific jumping part and activate the platform switch next to the vent, before trying to do the 2nd set of Outbreak switches. Makes that part easier.
if i do all 3 switches on one run, then run out of time to kill the boss, do i have to do them all again or just run one more legend one focused only on doing it asap?
No, you get progress for it instantly. Although, you would have to do the mission again for the next step anyways, which is completing the mission on legendary 😅 So, if you wanted to do it all in one go, might have to do it with a team that can go ahead of you and clear everything and start working on the boss while you caught up from doing all of the switches. Otherwise, you'll have to go through at least two times on legendary. There's another set of puzzles in this mission that advances the "corruption spreads" trait on Outbreak also, which involves doing three vault puzzles throughout the mission. This one is much less of a headache to do because you can do it on normal difficulty with much more time. You will also get the schematic for a ship too.
If you are on a warlock and struggling with the tight timing for the final pair of switches do them in reverse, start high and working back to the first switch
I hated the legendary Whisper and zero hour missions especially do to the time limits. Like seriously why change the entire layout for legendary, it halfway made no sense in my personal opinion. 😒 PS I hope they give us another way to get the catalyst cause never was able to fully beat legendary whisper nor zero hour due to time limit and unnecessary additional jumping puzzles
Hey I am complete dogshit at the game and I did both normal and legend last night. There is an infinite time glitch that’s brain dead to pull off. Super easy. Do it before they patch it
@@JohnSmith-cg2venever heard of the glitch but I might look it up. However, I still wish they would get rid of all the unnecessary extra jumping puzzles. I mean it's a good thing that there are walkthrough articles and videos cause I had no idea where to go in the legendary zero hour after flipping the switches due to the changing of parts of the map. Also the additional jumping puzzles (which was totally annoying) slowed people down 😅
@@djrosette oh yeah I totally know what you mean. The infinite time glitch is a huge help tho and it’s easy to get there solo. You don’t have the stress of a timer and you can take as much time as you need on anything and die as many times as you need. Definitely look it up
