All 60 facts seamlessly put together into one convenient video. Learn of several undocumented cut minigames, many pieces of inside developer info, prototype tidbits, out of bounds secrets, and much more.
3:07 That makes perfect sense now as to why the dragonflies are chonky. I always wondered why they look so much larger than Sparx. I love that I know the reason why now! 😄
Just when I thought there couldn’t be any other mysterious to uncover about this game ! Such an interesting watch, thanks for taking the time to document all the things about ETD!
Thanks to all of your videos, especially the documentary, it motivated me to go back and play this game as I never got to beat it when I played it in my Childhood. I myself experienced that weird way they do Zoe's respawn system when I was playing Cloud 9. I like what you're doing for this game and it's been a lot fun to get to see all of the information and facts you've uncovered.
5:58 the PS2 manual showed Spyro looking at this castle with its door open. As a kid, I thought this meant it was possible to get inside. I tried and tried to the point that I dreamt about it. But alas, it wasn't possible.
In earlier builds it actually was possible to enter the castle as they left the castle door open with a modeled interior. The interior was what was used in the 2nd cutscene. The final game has nothing inside the castle.
@@MrFO1 9:57 What Enchanted Forest? Did you mean Enchanted Towers? 10:55 You didnt mention that this line by Sparx is also heard when you go past the Ice Breath gate.
I knew about some of these, especially the extra gems from the plane minigame. I ended with 2 extra, and it actually shows up on the total. Not being able to exit out of the Ripto fight is why I didn't finish the game the first time I played it. I still had to do Jurassic Jungle and I wasn't ready to fight Ripto (I thought the portal was to another level), but I couldn't do anything. Another thing not mentioned here is that the Thieves use the same laugh from Spyro 1, which is just Carlos Alazraqui's voice sped up. Since Tom Kenny does their speaking voice, this means the thieves are voiced by two of Spyro's VAs.
Toys For Bob has shown they have what it takes; they could definitely remaster and fix this game. I know it was a steaming pile back when I played it but I still had a blast and the music was amazing. I would love them to give it a proper release. Also I still wanna know where those last few gems for the Thieves Den are, because I never found them.
With each of the levels being based on different cultures around the world, it makes me wish people would talk about the good things about this game instead of only focusing on the negitive.
it's annoying that sparx repetes the power ups and getting butterflies and those glitches if they kept their time on making this it'll be 100% better then it is now their were going to make spyro older add weather and others but the owner said no
I love that this is considered the worst game out of all of the earlier Spyro games and there is so much to be learned about it. Personally it's my favorite, I got so nostalgic when I put it onto my emulator. Despite the bad rep, I'll always love this shitty game 🤣
