Devastator Batman is by far my favorite. It’s a more realistic scenario to me...instead of the usual fight where Batman always catches Superman off guard with some form of Kryptonite. It takes Batman literally sacrificing himself to become a monster. And the emotional angle is powerful! Superman was the only person Batman says he believed in, that he hoped could bring a better future. In way Batman becoming Devastator is Batman giving up the last piece of hope/humanity he had for the world.

Fun Fact, each Batman is from a Negative Earth that's similar to a positive Earth in the DC Multiverse Laughs: Earth -22, on regular 22 (the Kingdom Come story) Joker dies. Red Death: Earth -52, parallels Earth 0 (the main one) the universe made after Flashpoint. Murder Machine: Earth -44, parallels Earth 44, where robots replace the Justice League Dawnbreaker: Earth -32, on regular 32 there's also a Lantern Batman Drowned: Earth -11 and +11 are both Gender-swap. Merciless: Earth -12. Earth +12 is the Justice League/Batman Beyond cartoon, where Batman and Wonder Woman are totally crushing on each other. Devastator: Earth -1. Earth One is a gritty, realistic series that started with Batman and Superman. Earth -1 ends with the two.

When you think about it Batman is a better villain then every villain in the dc universe

The Drowned is my favorite. I imagine that she could kick Aquaman's ass in a fight any day. And the fact that she augmented her body while she was still awake. Now that's what I call Metal.

Red Death has to be my favourite. It shows how much responsibility The Flash has and also because Flash’s parents also died, he could just be like Red Death. Absolutely amazing!

Doomsday Batman doesn’t seem to actually be evil or a villain, he might be the most sane of them all. if anything he was manipulated by the batman who laughs into joining him in his multi-versal campaign of domination and destruction because he recently murdered his friend and his mind would be so devastated and broken. Like batman is all tough and gruff and "I'm willing to put you down if that is what it takes to keep others safe" but they are friends, batmans and superman are friends, and if he had to kill him and essentially turn into superman worst enemy just to "keep others safe"

The Red Death has got to be my favorite. Something about that bat symbol with the flashes streak of lightning going down the middle. They managed to combine their symbols and simultaneously make it look like the bat symbol is broken to represent that the Batman he use to be is no more. No to mention the sweet power combination. A person with already genius intellect given the ability to access the speed force? I mean come on. Any idea, invention or plan he has would have already been thought up, concepted, tested, retested and then created, all in the time it took you to blink. Scary stuff.

Devastator surprisingly seems like the most sympathetic of the Dark Knights. He was like, the only one who didn't directly kill everyone.

I wish they would have elaborated on The Merciless' and The Devastator's origins because they are insanely badass. I like all the Dark Knights, but my three favorites are hands down Red Death, Dawnbreaker, and The Batman Who Laughs.

The Merciless was so badass, he went full Kratos and stormed Olympus

I like how each Night represents aspects one can see with Batman. Laughs is the arugument that both Joker and Bats are one in the same. Red Death is how Batman will cross lines when his loved ones die with the lost of his family, as seen after Jason Todd died, or when Alexsnder Luthor nearly killed Nightwing. Murder Machine is his coping mechanism bring Alfred after his parents died, being flipped on IT'S head. Dawnbreaker is basically fueled by his patents death and willpower, just in the wrong direction. Merciless is how some might see Batman's method of stopping crime, as well his high moral standing, can come off as more a despot. As seen with Frank Miller's Batman in the Dark Knight Returns. Drowned is Batman's paranoia of metahumans in general. Which given the whole Doctor Kight mind erasing and the creation of Brother Eye, isn't exactly unfounded. Devastator is basically what Bats can assume of Supes, on the worst day of his life. Injustice, BvS, even the fact that Bats keeps a shard of kryptonite on him back then.

The Batman who laughs-If Joker won The Red Death-Not being able to save people in time The Murder Machine-Losing Alfred The Dawnbreaker-His need for vengeance getting the better of him The Drowned-If Aquaman caused a flood upon Gotham The Merciless-Losing a loved interest The Devastator-If Superman got hypnotised and went feral

Red Death and Batman who Laughs are just sad. In Red Death he rips Barry apart and in BWL he forces Superman to murder his own family. My personal favorite story of the lot is a tie between Merciless and Devastator

The Red Death was mentioned in the flash show. they said that in the show: "cicada killed more people than the reverse flash and the red death" So basically red death exists in CW'S ArrowVerse. and may appear on the flash in a future episode or season

I've allways loved that red hood managed to shoot back when the batman who laughs kills them all. Really shows how he never truly let's his guard down

My favourite is actually the Devastator, because after all, it wasn't his fault. He had to become a villanous monster to stop another villain and lost everything in the process, including his humanity

I like the Drowned the best. I think that her and the Doomsday Batman may be able to be talked into becoming good guys again.

Dawnbreaker, The Drowned and Murder Machine are my favorite. I think they did such an amazing job with this story.

The first Batman from the Negative Multiverse that I had heard about was Red Death Batman, and I really loved his character, not just because I'm a massive fan of The Flash and speedsters, but because his story managed to grip my attention when I first heard about it, even after they arrived in the multiverse/main Earth.

My favorite Dark Multiverse is the Grim Knight, because he’s basically Batman merged with Punisher, Deathstroke, and Deadshot.

I love how jason is the one with the gun, willing to kill bruce considering he is arguably the most loyal there

Really poves how unstable Bruce Wayne really is. The Flash version, the Doomsday version and the Ares version I could genuinely see happening.

EVERY villain who isn't out for chaos thinks they are the good guy. Good and evil is no absolute. It's a matter of perspective.

Wow that was awesome and disturbing favorite ones are the one who laughs the Red Death and Dawnbreaker I particularly liked Dawnbreaker because it was like an interesting twist to Bruce as a young boy instead of feeling scared and Afraid there was no fear.

Most other “evil” versions of Batman were just trying to make the world a better place and saving their love ones through their twisted ways, but the Batman who laughs is just straight up a psychopath

The details about the origins of the seven evil versions of Batmen was very interesting, and to add bizarre as well. To add they all seem like slightly possible event stories that bring a very unique out look on the portrayals; About each one of these the Batmen from the alternate realities.

The one thing I always wondered after finishing the series was why the dawnbreaker looks pretty fit and healthy in his origin comic... and then on metal looks like he barely survived a lethal dose of radiation...

Evil Green Lantern Batman is my favorite, cuz the costume looks great and he's freaking Batman with a Green Lantern ring, he's damn near unstoppable.

my favorite of these batmen/women is The drowned, mainly because i can actually see this happening. After all Batman is the most paranoid person in the history of the world. except for maybe mad-eye moody from the harry potter series.

DC is just dominated the animated world and the comic world......but live action.....ummm not so much

The Red Death deserved a happier ending. I know what happens later, and that's alright, but really his world should've lasted longer, and it wasn't like he was killing innocent people before he signed up with the Batman Who Laughs.

I never came into reading them, so i was really curious about those Dark Knights. (Kinda missed the first comics starting this event, and then i got confused with all the issues and collections) JEEEZZZ DAMN! They are really heavy metal! :D The creativity behind those characters is amazing!
