How is he not the second best shooter ever? He missed 2 and a half seasons. And he's still has nearly 2000 regular season 3s with 3pt % of above 40 in both regular season and playoffs. The second greatest shooter to ever live, Klay Thompson.
Just remember, this was a down year for him. One of his worst. Still dropped 77 threes and 18.5ppg. Most importantly got ring 4. If he gets back to more of his normal self that’s a big problem for the league.
Nah only if he's 100% back because mediocre Klay is just a inefficient shooter. He needs his shooting AND explosiveness back. His feistyness was an underrated aspect of him as well. That helped him compete on a whole another level. He went soft but that happens when you are out for 2 seasons. He's just happy he back.
@@deelewis8061 Against what Competition ? Nigga use your head. Almost every team was injured and not healthy. Other Nba teams are also going for their head now.
@@poison1222 i am using my head. Logic. Teams have been trying to come for them since 2015. They had to get injured to fall off. A half azz Klay got another ring. There are more teams without a ring, and more with just 1. Then it is with 4 in 8 years. There is no such thing as teams are coming for them. Most teams cant compare, yet alone compete with The Mighty Warriors. So use your head. You are talking nonsense.
Feel like klay only struggled offensively towards the end of the playoffs due to his legs getting tired from all the big mins he was playing, just imagine a whole training camp & a whole season for him to get himself fully back to 100%
Valid point, plus he played better defense in finals, got better and better which could’ve affected his legs. We don’t need the exact same klay , but we’re probably gonna get it , it not close too
I just love how people are giving both Klay & Curry extra motivation to destroy the league. Barring any injuries, the Dubs will be insane as they have inside/out game. Pick your poison! Then you have the X-Factors, JaMychal, Donte and the youngsters? Their 2nd unit will be fun to watch.
His performances in the playoffs were underrated. Narrative is he played bad but basically he was clutch for all the four rounds. Sometimes he shot too much but Remember he was 2,5 years out. Also in the finals he stepped up defensively. Can't wait for 22/23 Klay, All Star Szn incoming!
The league should be scared of this guy getting better and bk to his very best when the 22/23 season starts...because...the fact that he still shot the ball like that in the postseason after suffering 2 major injuries is extraordinary....
This is what they think a #77 all time NBA looks like? I protest!! I want Klay to score 75 pts in one game in the Finals this year (in 3 quarters & 14 dribbles) to show them up...
