Took quite a few tries for the legendary challenges for Yuffie and Red, but yeah. (Though I was surprised at how easy the final 2 were. I wasn't complaining, though. I'll take two victory laps over two of even more bullshit)
Also for the long time ff fans, this was my 2nd ever ff game and I'm disappointed i didn't get into it sooner. Damn good game. Im jealous you guys got to experience this story years ago
@@DodderingOldManHonestly, I feel like the OG 7 is a pretty simple plot on the surface with more layers as go through. Not sure how the remake is going to pan out. 8 on the other had…that one takes a few times and you are still like “Wtf is going on” lol.
It took me 1.5hrs to beat the crunch off. Luckily, there was a RU-vid by a guy describing how to complete the crunch off when you came across the Green button that requires you to apply a slight amount of pressure on the R2 or L2 triggers to not fail in the crunch off.
37 - 43 just needs 2 replays, one with Tifa as the date, one with Yuffie. The rest will trigger by S ranking the performance with either one. My first playthrough I got all but Yuffie (I had Tifa as my date), took me forever to figure out Yuffie needed to be the date because it just says excecute a flawless performance. If you get Aerith as the date, you need to do it 3 times.
@28:00 So here's something I've discovered. You sometimes lose your ability do use dig sites when hopping around chapters (not sure but if you do Chapter 1 or 2 and don't complete them you lose the ability to dig bunny sites). You have to do Chapter 2 up to when you get Piko (I usually do at least the pole race) and then look for them again. You are also free to hop to other chapters other than 1 or 2 at this point. Hopefully this helps.
Hi , it's not letting me dig at the sites , I've finished the game , shall I start and complete chapter 2 and then hopefully it will let me dig at those sites ?
@@neilmacey84 Yeah complete up to the Piko race and then try and find sites again, if you can then you can also skip to other chapters, just don't go back to 1 or 2 :P
I got 77 so far. Luckily ive done all combat challenges, card games, piano pieces and 3D brawler sephy... the onky hard one i have left is tifas crunch challenge. Should be done tomorrow and have the platinum :)
Thx for this, the only thing I would suggest is putting the list in order of chapters. Jumping from Ch 12 back to Ch 4, then to 12 again, only to finish in Ch 4 is confusing.
IIRC for #52-53, Hojo battle simulator is unlocked thru a certain ch 12 sidequest in Nibel. For #67, I got this on my first playthrough on dynamic, you can actually heal your trooper friends, just heal them with items after each battle.
Quick question, does it aerith get best actress reward if you dated her or not ? Because I dated Tifa and I still got the best actress reward for aerith , im only missing yuffie
Completed all of the colosseum fights in normal (up to level 60) by going back to chapter 12 using chapter select and got the other collectibles but Dio’s autograph is not showing up in the GP exchange. Did I miss something?
Any tips on cactuar crush? I just cant beat the last hard mode challenges for both characters. Im level 63, I use all the material and methods in the guide videos but nothing even comes close to working. I've seen people with weaker characters do this faster than me, despite my doing what they are. Idk what im missing
idk what to tell you, I did it at 35 or something on dynamic. Yuffie is very easy, aerith is kind tricky. On yuffie just doppelganger, blindside, windstorm, and art of war. Get some atb boost skills, don`t bother too much with ninjitsu. The wind magic will gather them up and kill them pretty fast, just spam attacks, her atb goes fast. Aerith idk, sorcerer storm helps. Also equip elemental link on weapon.
Those are just queensblood games. There’s no ‘rank’. You either beat em or you don’t. You sure you got the right item numbers if you’re wondering about ranks?
some of these are a pain to get i think i have about 44 or 45 of them the difficult ones for me are the ones i got to get rank 3 and some of the mini games in the gold saucer and some that are locked for cretin chapters shouldn't be too difficult now ill just go to chapter select and do them
I must say, Ab-fab (crunch challenge in the gym) is brutal, It's been three days and I am still stuck. Only once I made it through, but I was 2 points short :/
They didn’t fix it yet; if you have a physical copy of the game. Just uninstall and reinstall and stay off internet. Reload the save file prior to beating his score. It should work. I had the same problem. If you have a digital copy; that might be a problem until they fix that. I think it has something to do with an update the messes up the quest.
Big tip to complete mini games like fort condor on hard mode is to play hard mode on easy mode. Sounds stupid, but it helps a lot and I know it works for fort condor. Does anyone know if it helps and works for Chocobo racing/gears and gambit/etc?
@@callmeshaggy5166 yeah I figured that out during my first playthrough. Seems like every game with one button inputs like 3d brawler and the frog game, lower game difficulty doesn’t effect it, but any game with combat, atb charges it does. Couldn’t really test it because I got a lot of the johnny trophies in my first playthrough. Only had to go back to complete a few “hard mode” games. All I have left are the Choco glide, which I don’t think easy mode will effect, and Gears and Gambits, which it should. I’m guessing chocobo racing it may dumb down or slow hyperions AI. Not sure though since I did all those races on dynamic.
The only problem is that stupid quest can’t stop won’t stop is absolutely BROKEN and won’t progress even though I crushed the damn score. It won’t accept I beat it and thusly cannot get the subsequent QB card nor unlock the sephiroth battle.. I out so much effort into the game 130hrs!!! To get stopped by a stupid bug/glitch.. so disappointed Edit: the G bike part of the quest.. I got 34,000!!! And it won’t register. I even thought the game might have been confused because my high score was already 32,200 from the previous run on standard so I beat my high score twice… nope!!
It’s a bug with the latest patch. I’m sure it’ll get fixed just do everything else you need to do. You can come back and do that with chapter select later.
@@BornFromEmbers yea man, I figured I’d do everything else in the meantime. It just sucked when I was gunning for every trophy as it’s probably going to be the only game I play for a long time. Kinda wanted to wrap this up lol hopefully it’s patched sooner than later.
Instead of going in order of the number of the item you should’ve gone with putting them in the order of the chapters. Went to Junon to play the frog mini game not knowing there was 2 but after looking it up Its unlocked at chapter 12, and km currently at 11
I just beat the game and im curious what would be the ideal Chapter to select to start doing a clean up of side quests, mini games, weapon masteries etc? (Before i do hard mode) Edit: thanks for all the helpful answers, I recently platinumed the game :)
12 if you want Cait, 13 otherwise. Some of the treasures are bugged if Cait isn't in the party but will be added if you switch to a chapter with him in it.
Welp, think I'm f*cked. 150 hours, just about ready to start the brutal/legendary challenges... But for some reason, Snaps is marked complete and I can't unlock tge Grassland or Nibel Photo Ops. Waste of my fucking April
Dawg I’m not gonna lie, using Aerith at those cactuar crush mini games is god forsaken awful. The piano peerless; is so hard in my opinion. 😩 This game is great but such a goddamn grind in mini games which is unnecessary. I hope they tone down the mini games just a little bit for the final remake.
#68 is so fucking stupid…I’ve just about had it with the minigames in this game. Also, the fact that they make you replay the entire damn chapter just to reach a certain point is blasphemous.
The fact that they make you have to do Loveless stage play multiple times is just so fucking stupid just to have it unlock at Johnny's in even though it counts for the Trophy for S Rank. It's just dumb. Idk who thought that this was ok to force onto the player.
I didn't mind since you can at least watch the unique scenes with each date. It's better than having to do the robot arms puzzle in Remake over and over again...
