I just found your channel so am going through all of your videos .... enjoying them all so far...the only powder from this brand I have is the blurring beige but now want to buy more.... thank you
Thank you so much for watching, Mary! Glad you like them! I am a newbie on RU-vid so I am trying to post more beautiful makeups on here. Hope to see you soon again! :)
Late comment but new subscriber! Would you happen to know the difference between the natural lighting powder vs. hourglass finishing powders for someone with a medium-tanskin tone?
I am sorry that I just saw your comment here.. It's been too long to answer this question but I will leave my reply here just in case if you want to know. Natural lighting Powder- you can use as both setting & finishing powder especially when you have a tan skintone. I use KGD Natural lighting Powder more for setting though. Hourglass finishing powder is perfect for finishing, but not suitable for setting with my skintone. Hope this helps!
1) Is blurring beige pressed powder too dark for very fair skins as well? Is it also a finishing powder like the brightening pink pressed powder, or it is used for setting? 2) is cashmere blend powder compact a finishing or setting powder? 3) is the natural lighting loose powder a finishing or setting powder? Tysm~
Hi, Blurring beige might be slightly too deep for very fair skin, but if you have a fair olive/yellow undertone, it will work perfectly. And Cashmere Blend Powder compact is more for setting, but you can definitely use as finishing powder as well. Oh, Natural Lighting Powder is a setting powder for me! However all of these powders can be used as finishing powder with different type of brush!
@@anothermk thank you! I guess I got confused about setting vs. finishing. I always thought finishing is like the Guerlain Meteorites, which gives a beautiful blurring finish that is not mattifying and doesn’t help prevent oily/shininess. Is this also your definition? And when you say use a different brush for setting with these powders, you mean a less dense brush? Thanks so much for your prompt response and patience.
