I’m trying to get a cast metal partial made at a dental school. They’ve had to make 4 partials already because none of them fit. I’ve been told by one instructor that I have the most complicated case that he’s ever seen. I go in next week for a fitting and I’m hoping this one works. If not I’ll need 3 more surveyed crowns to try to make it work for me .In addition to the 2 more crowns I’ll likely need soon. All of work I’ll need done plus all of the stuff I’ve already had done will cost me $4000 at a dental school. If I want a full mouth reconstruction at a professional place it will be close to $100,000. Possibly more. Surgery, orthodontics, implants, bone grafts, crowns. So much. I have had so many problems with my teeth since I was a kid.

Wow choices... I hope my dentist in San Antonio uses you guys. I hope I can afford metal. I think I can get by with one tooth on the top and one on the bottom. I forget what all I'm even missing.

This stuff should be covered by insurance period fully covered ... one of the richest countries in the world 🌎

Question. Should both up and down partials have the same textual feeling and made out of the same material? Not smooth and dry sensation.

The metal partial I had was horrible and so was the dentist. I suffered with it for years because when I did have insurance the dentis I had was so into himself I think he enjoyed the fact the partial gave me such trouble - aesthetically and increased tmj, etc. I had a great experience with the most recent place I got a partial from. Dare I name it, since bad things happen to good people and just from mentioning them locally, their office was shut down by corrupted gov employees! They still have another office in CT, unless the dirty politicians used tricks there also. Here one of the state reps has a father who is a dentist and probably only cares about feeding his pocket. I had a badly broken jaw from being hit head on by a 20 ton sander truck. Decades later I finally got a decent partial! They did all they could to make me suffer and cheat me, changing this at-fault case to a no-fault! To help the guy who tried to kill me, who laughed at the pre-trial hearing and my attorney wouldn't speak up, so I let him have it. My attorney told me to be quiet and I said, "Well you weren't saying anything! I'm not going to let him laugh about putting me in a coma 2 1/2 weeks, hospitalized 3-1/2 months, and laugh about it!"

Hi I have a question I have partials it’s almost a complete denture but I do have six teeth on the top and two on the bottom and I have metal on my partials I just got them two days ago and I want to know if I should put a heater for dentures on it because I get so much food caught in the middle and that the food is getting caught it starts to hurt when I’m chewing

I've got four teeth on the top and my dentist says I can't get a partial because there's nothing to Anchor it to so all my teeth have to be pulled and I've got to get a full denture. Is this the case or are they just trying to get more money pulling all my teeth?

I have a partial metal with a singular tooth on the front. The plastic holding it on keeps snapping and so the tooth falls off it 😡 I'm sick to death of it and its sending my anxiety through the roof 😥

usually, the dentist does not want to make partial for 2 or 3 teeth, only crowns and 2 teethes additional destroy. Waw so rough and terribly bulky...no ecstatics,. Good for horses, no for people's mouth. It is from 19 centure

It’s just bullshit how expensive it is you know people are losing their teeth so X methods was just sometimes genetic after having a kid especially I had healthy teeth until I got pregnant I brush or floss I don’t smoke crack. And the guy did invent growing teeth back it is been confirmed and I don’t know what it’s going to be released but I have a feeling it’s gonna be very expensive just grow your own fucking teeth back. I'm getting partials. Supposed to be the very best according to the denturist. I've never had partials before. My missing teeth are all over the place so I am nervous as this is the first time. I wish the person talking was a bit more clear. Informative but voice was droanish... Also I hope I'm getting the dentures where you can eat with them. I simply refuse to take them out every time I'm going to eat something especially in a restaurant how do you deal with that?

I'm baffled. Metal in mouth and so close to your brain is NEVER a good thing. I'm surprised that the presenter is not aware of that yet is recommending it.
