The backpacks from the Mackenzie collection comes in three different sizes; large, small and pre-school. Each bag is made from rugged, water resistant, 600 denier polyester, with adjustable straps and padded channels for comfort and safety. The exterior strap holds jackets, sweaters or a lunch bag.
The large Mackenzie backpacks can hold a laptop, two full sized binders, 3-4 medium sized books or notebooks. These backpacks have a specially designed pocket for laptops and MP3 players and an opening for the earphones. The side pockets can hold drink containers and other school supplies. The large sized Mackenzie backpacks are also available as rolling backpacks with steady wheels to tow heavy weights as well.
The small sized Mackenzie backpacks are ideal for kids who are 43-49 inches tall. This backpack can store a binder or laptop, 2 large books and 2 medium sized notebooks and an MP3 player with an opening for the earphones.
The pre-school backpack is for kids between 36-42 inches tall. This backpack is ideal to store snacks, extra clothes, two small books, a sweater and school supplies and toys.
The Mackenzie collection from Pottery Barn Kids is designed to address the needs of all kids. The sports backpack is ideal for kids who have practice sessions after school. This backpack can hold a soccer ball or basketball and sports shoes. According to Sampson, all these backpacks should be adjusted in a way that the base of the bag is at waist level.
