@@Buran01 The Craig Jones Invitational has taken some of the star athletes who would have been competing at ADCC by having it held on the same day, although many of the actual potential winners of ADCC are staying, they have relatively low profiles and so the incentive to watch ADCC over the CJI is very low, the winners of the CJI get $1 million and everyone else gets $10,000 just to show, whilst ADCC, the winner only gets $10,000, and you get nothing to just show, it's Craig Jones' way of saying fighters need to be getting paid more and it has the backing of the majority of the BJJ community. I myself won't be watching ADCC because it is on flograppling which is expensive af, whilst the CJI is being livestreamed on RU-vid. However, as Gordon Ryan and the rest of New Wave are sticking with ADCC due to the rivalry between B-team and New Wave and Gordon's loyalty to Mo (ADCC organiser), the only compelling reason to watch ADCC this year is to watch Gordon Ryan. He was super delusional in his approach to his match against the literal best of the best. He really thought he was going to smash Gordon. His practice footage was him from top & back. Never any pin escapes, sub escapes

I like aspects of him staying technical but I do think he allowed Gordon to come up to top position far too easily
