Speaking of Yae Sakura in HI3, iirc she had Aponia use Discpline on her so that when she sheathes one of her swords she'll forget everything she did while the sword was unsheathed. Possibly done to make it so she won't remember any traumatic or politically questionable work she does with it because she draws that sword against humans and she's an assassin. Could Acheron being reluctant to draw her sword mean something similar ? That a 'different' Acheron exists that is only in full control when she draws her sword ? Maybe drawing it is a self-destructive act(memory-consuming even) that aligns with Nihility and she loathes it.
The name Acheron is from Greek Mythology of the River going to Hades. The motif of the deep diver set, the diving into the actual void lore, fits the name based on the river to the Underworld.
One interesting fact: if IX is a black hole, then he indeed should warp time, since that what black holes do. In reality black holes warp the fabric of space-time so much that time and space switch places, so that if you cross the event horizon and enter a black hole, its center literally becomes your future and the event horizon, the entire universe become your past, there's no way to escape this black hole, because you'd need to move backwards in time to do that, which means there's no way to escape your future - the center of this black hole. By entering the black hole, acheron maybe bounded her fate to a predetermined path and a predetermined end, while at the same time making the entire universe with all of its history her past, so this may explain the weird time stuff. And interestingly, terminus and IX seem to be really similar or related, as I said, you can only escape the black hole, if you can move backwards in time and that's precisely what terminus does. So what if terminus escaped IX but it affected him somehow?
This could be very important! It would explain why she has such ties to Nihility to seek IX out and enter it, and also provides a reasoning that the way she was able to exit was because she drew Terminus' gaze. Maybe Acheron in a single instant at the center of the black hole lived thousands+ years (but also none), and during this time she came to terms with Frebass' death and the (small n)nihility of existence, but eventually developed some kind of outlook that drew the attention of terminus, in that infinitely long instant, enough for terminus to give(not right word) her the powerTM. Somewhen in that black hole, Acheron found her goals aligning with that of terminus, and now *that* is what they are pursuing.

Penacony is so mysterious and i really love the red herring theme. Acheron could be a time traveler. She could lead path to Firefly's death. Maybe the red text is forgetting key moment in the past timelines she goes through. The red text are questions to remember what happened and maybe tweak it so it happens differently.

Here's another theory She's both an Emanator of Nihility AND Finality Current timeline (our) Acheron she's the Emanator of Nihility but in the Future she becomes an Emanator of Finality and That Version of herself is influencing her past self to reach her future self and whatever the Aeon is trying to do
It was cool how red dialogue was completely random. I had restarted the dialogue multiple times and it would always change despite picking exact same dialogue.
I think her white hair red eye is her original personality, she remembers everything and has all her powers, she cries when transforming cuz she pretty much is depressed, then she switches to the goofy ahh personality so it doesn't take a toll on her body
If you’ve seen the leaks of her abilities, you can see that she’s heavily inspired by the movie Interstellar, which popularized the specific depiction of a black hole that you see in her ult. Specifically she is not inspired by black holes, but by the science fiction interpretation of black holes held by this movie, which revolves around using black holes as a method to freely and intentionally traverse the fourth dimension of time - which is bullshit according to real science, not fiction. If you look at her skill animations, you can see that she has the ability to control time, allowing her to be in several moments of time simultaneously. As for her being an emanation of Ix, nothing we know about Ix or the Galaxy Rangers would back up that theory. Ix is nihilism personified, and the Rangers are seigi no mikata personified, lone rangers of all that is good in the world, one man armies against evil. This would explain why Acheron has it out for Ix - and predictably lost. The only link to Acheron being an emanator of Ix is us reading between the lines from a proven liar who wants something from the Trailblazer. Aventurine is as credible as Nigerian princes. Taking what any character in this arc says at face value is a guaranteed way to fail. As for the red text, I treat it as internal monologue. The only person who ever responds to it is the Trailblazer, and the only way the Trailblazer can hear it is because they are sharing the same dream. Acheron is a Self Annihilator and the Emanator of IX the Nihility. 2.1 main will show why she's the strongest character in HSR rn except Aeons, yes Welt has no chance against her.
Emanators are generally stronger than Herrschers (with few exceptions), and Welt already struggled to put down Phantylia, an Emanator of Destruction. Also Welt has passed on his Herrscher powers and is now drawing his current power from another source (I forgot which, but it's another HI3 stuff). I'm still interested to see how Acheron as an Emanator of Nihility fares though, since we already know that the Emanators of Destruction and an Emanator of Propagation can destroy planets, while an Emanator of Abundance possesses immortality and probably can devastate planets with abundance of life
I think in lore/game researchers (like the genius society, herta iirc) generally refer to it this way, but honestly i just say "icks" so i can call it a day. Also it sounds cooler kekw
my personal theory (which is born from the idea of other theory from other people) is that Acheron is an Emanator of Finality BUT, this is only true to her alter self. The Acheron we know is moving normally to the future while her alter is moving backwards and towards the past. When, for example, there is a red text, it means that the alter somehow either answering us through Acheron or Acheron herself is using her alter's memories. I guess this also can explain why Acheron somehow has her mind all over the place and is getting lost is probably because of her alter's memories mixing up. When Acheron first met up with us, that also means that this is the alter's last meeting with us. Whatever she experienced and know of the future, probably forced Acheron and the alter to cry in blood as Finality is now set in stone.

I was thinking the crazy idea that shes an emanator of both,she was finality first and thats how she didnt self anihilate when she fell into IX and held on,thus turning into an IX emanator too just by surviving
Terminus and IX have paths that are very similar (pointlessness of things, "ending" of things, time). Ena was absorbed into Xipe due to overlapping paths. The fact these two Aeons are so similar yet remain different might be due to how they warp time. My theory is that Terminus is IX after reaching the end of time, and then traveling backwards. They are the same Aeon repeating an endless loop going back and forth through time. Which would mean Acheron could be the emanator of both of them if you think about it. That could be why we keep getting conflicting powers and clues regarding who she is the emanator of.

Wouldn't she being Nihility suggest she's an emanator of Nihility? Though I suppose 'Finality' isn't a religious direction, and since everything she touches, dies, I suppose she could belong to either or both.

Maybe she cried at the beginning of the story and asked those questions precisely because she knew that someone important to the trailblazer died and she didn't try to do anything to stop it. Maybe she really travels through time and is trying to prevent Firefly's death, but the cycle may have ended because this time Black Swan was there to investigate. And no, I think the villains are Aventurine and Black Swan.
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced nine but I think we are yet to have an ingame character speak their name with a voice line. Mainly because most characters refer to the Aeons by their epithets.

At first, I agree at Emanator of Finality theories, even the game says it, but now it leans more and more to Emanator of Nihility, first with the relic set, and now, I won't spoil it, and don't look for it they'll reveal it next week, Acheron's skill and ultimate literally shows someone who looks like an Emanator of Nihility. Just thinking if she is Nihility, why would they dismiss that fact?..
Relic set explains her reliance on nihility characters and her purple outfit, not being an emanator of nihility. Her leaked kit heavily features black holes, not IX. Black holes in some cosmic theories are supposed the end of all things.
IX is supposed* to be a black hole, and the game says it, all of those paths (Hunt, Destruction, FInality) all leads to the same outcome, which is the end, and what does a black hole signify according to cosmic theories? It all adds up, either way, whatever she is an Emanator of doesn't matter, it just feels uncomfortable that in lore she's supposed to be an Emanator of say, Finality, but her in-game theme is Nihility.
