I can remember when having these games on cartridges was like a status symbol, now you can just down load them and it's like nothing, but now having them on cartridges is like a god.

I sold my massive collection. Now have all these downloaded. hahahah. But totally get what you're saying :) I don't regret, nor miss that I've sold it all. Damn near complete collections too, from several systems. It was large

I bought this system in 1986> i hate to talk shit on a pioneer, but I can count on one hand the best batch of games. Loved me some Food Fight and Midnight Mutants

The graphics were....maybe forgivable, but not the sound effects!!!

By putting the hardware and games out cheaper, it failed as you run the majority of 7800 games next to the NES and MS versions, 7800 comes worse off.

Gulp, even some of it's better titles pale next to the competition. Planet Smashers in 89/90 looking and sounding far worse than C64 Crazy Comets 1985 and Mega Apocalypse 1987.. Alien Brigade is a poor man's Operation Wolf on the Sega Master System.
