My Ult Bias in all of K-Pop (and maybe all of Music in general) is Wendy but it is not really even for her music. I love the person that she is. It really must have taken a LOT of HARD WORK to not only heal from her wounds, but she also had to LEARN TO WALK all over again because of her broken pelvis (that wound could have paralyzed her from the waist down, depending on the location of the break; it was SERIOUS or it would not have taken her so long to get back to music). Then she had to start running even if it still hurt, and then she had to get back into shape for dancing as if she was a trainee all over again! Her broken hand/ wrist would be the very least of her problems (but I will bet that she feels the weather changes like nobody else). But the broken cheekbone could have ended her vocal career if it had not been fixable. She could have even been blinded in that eye. If one of these had not been fixed for her, she could not have come back as a member of Red Velvet. A Five-Member Group where one of the members is in a wheel chair, or can't sing and is blind in one eye? No way that could happen in K-Pop. Maybe she would have simply become a music writer, composer, or producer, but she would not be able to sing again if the cheek bone had not healed properly. She would have HAD to leave Red Velvet as a member. So, part of it was luck and the rest is because she got help very quickly and the medical team wasted no time helping her. After the stay at the hospital, that truly must have been LOADS of work just to get back to her top form she had been in when she had the accident. She did not HAVE to come back at all but she proved that she WANTED to come back, THAT MUCH. She loves the members and her fans THAT MUCH. She loves Music THAT MUCH. She's my Ult Bias because she got back up on the horse.
