I wish somebody would just say..."and here's St.Aug….here's Landry/Walker...and so on. Also, where they from would be good too.... I know most of the schools, but heck, many I couldn't tell who they were. I know some didn't have their banner cuz of rain. I guess I ben away too long I don't recognize everybody.
With All of the Charter Schools, many of the traditional schools dont exit anymore. Very few middle schools. None of junior high bands are around. Alot of K-8 schools. With the right music teachers though the young musicians are in capable hands. Be Cool
@@1970sBestMusic this is true, this is also why N.O bands are taking soo very long to rebuild, not to mention, much of the city left during Katrina and a lot went on the West Bank, but as a whole, New Orleans is only a little over a Half, to a Third of the population than it was Pre Katrina, Particularly the East Bank, which is a huge part of why the bands are soo small now. and 0of course the Charter School as you mentioned has fully taken over the City.
Wole Ajayi the gno expressway that’s where all band heads go cause you know every band going to play something cause that overpass is going to amplify sound
Glynn Hebert we are not like y’all bands you can’t compare our bands to y’all. But Ohio state drum major twirls a baton that’s not really that heavy. They twirl a stick that’s way more heavy than a baton. We do stuff way differently from y’all. But it’s ok there’s nothing wrong with that because you never been in a hbcu band so you would never understand why we have more than two drum majors
@@glynnhebert7573 right. I am not sexiest I love women but the masculinity and dominance of a male speaks loud. You have to be a certain type of female to excert that energy
