irelands club sides are the best in europe but for some reason our national squad isnt what they should be or could be i think kidney needs to go and get a better coach
I genuinely think that if NH teams want to get better they should play against SH teams more, I don't know what it is but there's either a mentality thing or a coaching thing, a player thing or all that's missing up there. Maybe its just lack of confidence that comes with winning that the players aren't able to be creative like the SH teams who have this history of winning. Finding & closing this gap would be wonderful, because it's not hard work that is the difference between the SH and NH.

On top of that if NH teams stopped coming down SH would stop going up, many people turn up to watch class rugby and the occasions when they do win become huge things. Also Scotland just beat Australia... that a waste of time?
France lost 7-8 during the world cup finale against AB in Eden Park and a shameful home refereeing ( during 2nd half, look at the face all AB, they were totally confused. So AB aren't unbeatable. Period.
what is the point in Ireland playing the All Blacks 3 times? it is just going to be 3 hammerings. i know they will also do this to basically all other teams aswell though. if i was a manager i wouldn't play NZ because it is just pointless

I wasn't there but from the footage I'd say yeah.. See his arm swing back and then Mccaw's head knocked to the side. The ref is not the best and fyi the All Blacks as a team don't cite other teams/players for foul play
Ireland needs to believe they can beat them in order to play them - this is the best Irish squad in terms of talent but their attitude is negative. We've had worst starting XVs who have produced some better performances vs NZ, this was far from that. Declan Kidney, why play Murray ahead of Reddin? Its just unprofessional to favour these players from the province you use to coach. We have a Leinster team with 13 Irish players who were crowned European champions 2 years in a row, use them.
