Actually since he's able to move, technically he should've been able to feel the entire time. Your nervous system controls your pain and your movement, as well as a lot of other things. BUT this is an anime all whatever c:
@@vinhpham9474 idk but ik he still got both his legs back and it got eaten by the demon and he got it back after killing it in the mio episode and after that he got the fake leg again
He got his leg back so he can lose it. He got his skin back so he can get scarred. He got his nervous system back so he can feel pain. He got his ears back to he hear someone cry in agony. He got his voice back to scream in agony. He'll get his eyes back to see someone die, I can bet on that !
He got his leg back so he can stand on his own. He got his skin back so he can feel the sun and the rain. He got his nervous system back so he can understand when to stop and rest. He got his ears back so he can hear song, and voices, and birds. He got his voice back to communicate and share his thoughts. He'll get his eyes back to see the world and all its glory. It's worth the pain.
true but it has a point. Its the philosophical question if it is acceptable to let a few suffer (Hyakkimaru) if its benefits a huge group (the residents of the kingdom that belongs to his father)
The sad thing about his dad, is if he trusted his son Hyakkimaru to be the salvation and not the demons...he would have been a great leader for his people. His dad should have had more faith on his som then some demons
I have not watched Dororo in a while so I might be wrong in this front, but I believe thats why he began to cry in the last episode, I like to think he compared himself to Hyakkimaru and saw that his son had a will far more powerful than any occult or supernatural forces, so he felt saddened that he did not relied on his son earlier to lead the land, leading to the worst possible ending for everyone, his family, his people, and his own soul, or that perhaps he envied that will himself, and thats why he relied on the easy way out instead of working hard to attain your goals of life, no matter how hard, or painful they may be, like Hyakkimaru
This mf REALLY thought that trusting literal demons who demand to eat children is a good idea 😭😭😭. His younger son was making long term arrangements for watering the fields ....now that was a smart choice rather than depending on demons. Hyakkimaru should've been able to defeat their enemies and restore their glory or something. In fact, Daigo Kagemitsu could've done more by himself if he wanted to , but he wanted the easy way out 🤷. I'm pretty sure that the demons weren't exactly holding up their end of the deal , because there was still a shortage of food and people fighting everywhere.
Imagine a father disowning and discarding his son and telling him that hes a child for wanting to regain what was stolen from him when he was a baby by the man who tried to sacrifice him to the denons just so the father's legacy would have been known throughout history for the prosperity he brought to his land.
Do you not realize he gets his sight back he won't be able to detect the colors of the soul? Like with that female looking monster, he would just think that was a normal lady.
Watching this actually made me remember the scene at the end of venom where he threatens the guy at the store and he’d become this armless legless faceless thing and I was just thinking he’d be hyakkimaru
Dororo is dark. But it did not let dark tone consumed the show. While shows like Berserk consumed by it. Dororo still have preety light hearted moments. And thats beatifull. İts really did manage to balanced it out.
I hate how every time I have an idea years later I notice someone has actually done my idea. I legit had a story where someone was getting their body parts back.
Aww. I dropped the anime after the first episode to watch sth different but I've had a couple videos of it in my feed recently which caught my attention so I guess I should give it another try.
@@himanifafale6315 The original series of this anime (dororo) dates back 52 years ago. This is the 4th oldest anime in history and its manga dates back to the early 1960s. Hyakkimaru is a demon slayer on the hunt for demons who stole his body when he was a baby. Hence, he's the first ever demon slayer in anime history.
I bet hyakkimaru will have his eye/ ability to see as the last one that he must/will achieve. I have this feeling because hyakkimaru doesn't know the face oglf the doctor that take care of him. And i have a feeling that he will not remember the doctor because he didn't know how he look or sound. It's just a theory tho :v i never really watch the old anime so i don't know ::
I suppose he can know the doctor's face since there's a scene that before he left he caressed the doctor's face, in a motion that most likely is indicating he'd want to remember the shape of his face and the doctor cried.
@@fermusle4032 but he didn't have the ability to feel things yet, it's a doll arm. So even if he touch the doctor's face, he doesn't really know how it feel
@@heirhead413 well yeah, but isn't anime always like that? At first they don't recognize and then after some sort of act they will recognize each other?
@@arkans0071 Yeah, but they are still following the original storyline to an extent. I haven't read through the original storyline, but they've followed a bit of what I do know of it, and it is the same series so I see no reason why they would deviate too heavily. In the original story, Hyakkimaru acts like a normal person despite not being able to see or hear, he can also speak into people's minds despite not having a voice. He'd instantly be able to tell who the doctor was if they ever met, though I don't know if they do. My point is, if they meet in the original story, there wouldn't be a mixup, so there won't be a mixup in this story either, most likely. Hyakkimaru in this story already has instances where he acts as if he could tell who a person was, even though he shouldn't be able to with just his normal senses.
@@tiredparalyze5017 yeah they do, it's shown in ep 1 that a kid asks his mother why is that guy (aka hiyakkimaru) is wearing a mask...same for dororo, if anything doesn't make sense in this anime it will be him moving his fingers, other than that it's all logical i guess
Just found this Anime and have been on the binge! Has me fully invested! It’s is amazing but at episode 6 ending I can’t stop crying right now!! Idk if imma be able to make thru this whole story! So much pain!! ……Spoilers up ahead!….. When Hyakki realizes Mio is dead or dieing I guess! The pain and rage that you can see come over him!!!.. Then after he holds her and finally speaks for the first time by saying her name! Heart breaking!!
Bewamaru saw it all unfolding before his eyes &could very well tell what will happen to Hyakkimaru's soul each time he got a body part back by killing Demons. Each Demon's Tale is one of the most storied ones in Buddhism..A lot of animes have told them too in different versions...Orochi, Kyuubi, Chimaera.. Only thing left in the end was the holiest thing in all Buddhism..Eyes. The Key to Enlightenment/Doujutsu/Seeing the truth to Become Buddha(Enlightened One). I love hoe Steeped in Religion Japanese Folktales of Horror are..Ayakashi, Kwaidan& Certainly Dororo! It was a Classic in 1969 &This Coloured Remake definitely doesn't fall short.. it's still A classic!
This anime specially HyakkiMaru seriously gave me hope and cured most of my depression 😊 Actually there is a proverb *YOU MAY WANT EXPENSIVE TOYS AND PHONES AND LUXURIOUS DRESSES AND ACCESSORIES AND BUT SOME JUST LACKS AND ALSO WANTS THEIR BODY PARTS FOR WEARING ANY OF THOSE ACCESSORIES AND CLOTHES BACK JUST FOR A NORMAL AND HAPPY LIVING WITH LESS WORLDLY HAPPINESS AND REMAIN IN PEACE!* PS: I've decided I would be a doctor and serve for those who are lacking of body and and for those who are physically and also mentally ill. I hope I can do it! Fighting 💪💪💪💪!
How can he fight monstrous demons without hearing, feeling, seeing, smelling, talking, without arms, legs and a spine? 'Cause to Oblivion with everyone and everything that decides to even glance at him in mild annoyance!!!!!! Let's go!!!
@Sayed Hasan ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y9Lnvinvq3k.html If you go to 3:58 on this video of Hyakkimaru vs Tahomaru, you see that Hyakkimaru can see plants but go to about 8:49 and the only thing he can see is Tahomaru and nothing else. Same with 7:40. Tahomaru is grey and his sword is black but you can't see the railing behind him.
Really, The only thing he needs is his voice, Sight, And hearing. But he can't tell which demon has which so he just goes head first, But this made him vulnerable to pain.
@@ciciolimborpg7191 Dororo is actually a more rare form of saying "thief" in Japanese (in the original manga Dororo has stolen a lot). Hyakkimaru's name means "100 demons" (and -maru as a suffix to Japanese feudal masculine names).
I'm really confused why did his father sign a contract with demons and they choose to take his son's body parts. What did his father want that made him sign a contract with demons.🤔🤔🤔😑😑👿👹😈
His father made a deal with 48 demons so he can (I believe) rule the world in exchange for his son's 48 body parts Eite: I apologize I was looking at the old version
@@tiredparalyze5017 its 12 demons in this story, and he dsnt want to rule the world ,his village was going thru a tough time ,famine and drought etc,das y he made the deal
If I remember correctly, from playing Blood Will Tell, Hyakkimaru got his voice back first. Although he got every single part in the end sooo who am I to judge
