Sometimes it's great to watch a speed run to help you play a game better. I think a lot of players focus too much on not losing health and parrying. However, this shows that taken that damage might be for the best. It gives you those few seconds of invincibility to do more damage. Great job.
Yeah! In some games there are spots where its better to take damage to save time. In this category there are tons of situations like that. Thanks for watching!
That's a sound effect that happens when I get a gold split (fastest segment), so it wasn't me :P I had push to talk on so nobody could hear my keyboard/swearing, but yeah at 24:29 it got extremely serious!!! I had a good shot at WR no matter what pattern I got for the devil
Hey! :) I was 100% sure he was gonna beat it. We're really good friends and we were in discord calls getting him up to date with and practicing my new strats. We could both get sub 23:10 but at this level there's too much luck for us to be motivated. For example, score screens can randomly be faster and that's what gave him record this time. He would have just gotten it anyways eventually though. Thanks for watching
if you can parry the 2nd card so that the monkey barely bounces off the wall (and then you move to the other side) then you have a really good chance of sending him off the screen and he just dies lmao
