Yes, they are right. A game with unexploitable glitches is not a thing in the real world. What you should worry as a programmer is trying to minimize the bugs and fix the things that may ruin the game experience, like entering a room and falling to infinity, getting stuck in a certain part of the game or things like that you can run into by accident often enough. But now, speedrunners will always try to find gaps in your game to have some fun and they always will find some, but that's not a reason for worries. No major videogame that I know is glitchless, and speedrunners actually end up advertising your game and expanding the fanbase. I respect game developers and I know you will pull it off :)
I don't think it needs explaining tbh. Literally just "Knight does everything in fuckin under 4 minutes with black screen cause the player too shite" 😆
ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB! ASCEND WITH GORB!
I just did the achievements on steam for finishing the game in under 5h and wondered how the any% looked like and this popped up. I am genuinely at a loss for words
Something tells me this isn't intended. Jokes aside, very nice run! I've not seen many since the old Crystal Peaks strat, this is fascinating! Have a good day :)
@@Osmomorfismo ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fkJ7TI4d0EQ.html impromptu tutorial by 5b, some of the strats are outdated but should be enough to get you running :)
I’ll be real I thought this was with the debug mod. Never seen anyone no clip like that. My brain is melted from how much I can’t comprehend what’s on my screen.
@@nureinnoob8089 Makes sense, due to all of the stuff Godseeker mode gives you right from the start. I have since learned that the older, slower (~10m) route played on a very early patch has now become a new category, "Low% (All Glitches)" since it has only 2% completion.
1:18 what am I watching? Edit: The only moment I understood what was going on was that you duplicated one dreamer to get 3 at the same time and that you fought THK
I cant imagine walking into this with 0 context like just seeing a person sitting there hitting pause over and over on a black screen and somehow beating the game
This is the first fully glitched run I've ever seen. I have no idea what I'm witnessing, and I love it. Seriously though, does anyone have a good video explaining the shenanigans of this run?
the only thing i think i figured in this run is that you somehow stack a couple of rooms in one place by abusing the trigger that is responsible for switching rooms, and that's how you killed 3 monomons at once and just travelled to her
I play a decent bit of hollow knight, but this is gibberish. I have no clue what is going on anymore. It literally looks like you just toggled noclip. Nutty catagory.
there is at least one thing that is missed here. invisible THK bug for some reason on my first playthrough i went in the black egg and there was a dark spot instead of THK. when i broke the chains it said THE HOLLOW KNIGHT and *the air litterally screamed* but the boss was nowhere to be found. his hitbox was still for sure there. i quit to menu and it fixed itself. dunno how it happened
Any% All Glitches just means they can use any glitch, not that they must use all glitches. The fact that a certain glitch didn't show up in the run doesn't matter
Nope, not a tas. It’s just practice, and having and understanding of what’s going on helps a lot-some things you might not even notice happening can give visual or auditory cues
