@@broscoho2704 there a difference between the two Matsuri love breathing was created because flame breathing was not working for her so after learning some breathing techniques she made her own while inosuke completely made beast breathing from scratch
Inosuke's Beast Breathing wasn't derived from Wind Breathing, but is rather the closest thing to any other Breathing Styles. He made his own entirely separate from any knowledge of them, which is why I think he's the most interesting of the main cast.
@@zjaeriqsanders1731 Would Inosuke be an inventor of breathing style like Yoriichi, since inosuke had no knowledge of breathing before making Beast Breathing like how Yoriichi made Sun breathing?
@@zjaeriqsanders1731 i always assume that the first demon slayer he saw, (and beat up) actually was a wind breathing user and so he derived beast breathing from him. i havent seen him use a sword before he met the demon slayer, plus he was in the mountains, so he probably derived it from the first swordsman he saw, and combined it with his wild fighting style.
@@TwelviSC he would have had to have learned his breathing technique way earlier than that to survive, especially as a kid. On top of that Inosuke doesn’t seem to really be the type to copy someone else’s fighting style, and even if he did no way could he learn and adapt it that fast. I will admit that this is the best explanation that I’ve been given for it tho, and it would make sense why beast breathing is somehow closely related to wind breathing, but (and I could be wrong) it feels like the writer’s intention was to imply that he created his form from scratch
Ok ok we all know that inosukes breathing was derived from wind the thing that's unique is that it was made by inosukes himself I Forgot to add that INOSUKES made it by himself without any breathing knowledge
That's what made inosuke a legend he raised himself in the mountains, made himself immune to even demon poison, and created his own breathing style. Goated 🐐
Beast breathing isn't derived from *any* breathing. He made it solely by observing how the animals around him acted, and made it to survive, that's also the reason why his blade is specifically "chipped" the way it is, to mimic the way teeth rip through flesh. It's important to keep in mind that he did this without previous knowledge of any breathing style, not even sun breathing. So it's the furthest from the original imo, considering it wasn't derived from any style.
the only speculation against this is that the first demon slayer he met, which he beat up and from whom he got his swords could've been a wind breathing user, whose techniques he adapted into his own style.
I have to thoroughly disagree with that statement as i believe personally that the breathing style which satiates my hunger for epicness has got to go to mist breathing
Agreed, it’s meant to be a counterpart to sun breathing, it’s not that sun breathing wasn’t too strong for him to use, it just wasn’t suited for him (like tanjiro and water breathing) which is awesome, cause he made a breathing style comparable to sun breathing.
@Derek Mayers-Louther I feel bad for people who never read the manga because they dont know that the manga has officially ended years ago and that there was no timeskip or other breathings
Inosuke's breathing style is a unique style somehow he managed to create a breathing style apart from Sun breathing it's a brand new breathing style itself little similar to wind breathing simply.... Sun breathing aren't anyhow related to Beast breathing
I don't believe one needs to see other forms for derivatives to be formed. Basically the new form would be downstream of another main style, even if the individual didn't see other styles to learn it, the style is birthed from another style that is birthed from sun breathing.
I want to know behind the reason why all the Hashiras never tried to learn other breathing styles after mastering their current styles. it would be very helpful if they knew more breathing styles than just one.
Bruce Lee said it best. "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." It's not important to know more styles it is more important to master the styles that suit you best and for some of these hashiras it is not something that can easily be achieved that quickly. Plus tanjiro deduced that other demon slayers must combine other breathing styles to compliment their mastered styles. You see him do this with water breathing and sun breathing together to lesson the load on using sun breathing and move more fluidly. We see tanjiro, inousuke, and zanitsu learning these things, but when we see the hashiras it's not something they're learning in that moment it's something they already knew and so what we see is them combining other styles and their own so fluently we think it's just their one mastered style.
It’s stated why, for example tanjiro can use water breathing, but it’s not suited for him, it doesn’t make him as strong. So using other breathing styles would be useless, as they would become substantially weaker.
@Mikerille nah other styles have basics that compliment your chosen style. For example tanjiro uses water breathing to lessen the load sun breathing has on him by using a more defensive water breathing reflection technique. The demon slayers of higher levels master the basics of each style to incorporate parts of them fluently to compliment their one style. I'm sure this doesn't apply to all the slayers, some are stated to just be geniuses who mastered their sword and became hashiras in short times compared to others like rengoku or uzui
@@Mikerille I don't recall how it's explained in the manga, as it's been a while, but recently watched the last season and Tanjiro goes through a whole realization scene during his fight with Daki, where his sword chips in their fight after going all out with sun breathing techiniques. He realizes if he uses water breathing techniques to defend his sword would've never been damaged and then states this must be what upper ranking demon slayers already do to improve their own styles. He then says he will not be wasting Mr Urokodaki's teaching of the water breathing style. Again, it's been a LONG time since I read the manga so maybe it's not written the same, but I recently saw this scene.
@@tntdragon1000 yes, tanjiro using the water breathing to lessen the blow of sun breathing is true, but that’s because he’s not strong enough to use sun breathing, and because he’s also not a good match for water breathing, which he outright states. His affinity has always been with sun breathing, he’s just too weak, but he mixes them both temporarily to lesson the strain but it weakens the power and makes him slower. Overall, every hashira if they used any other styles, it would weaken them.
Mitsuri uses a whip like katana. It's hard to explain. It doesn't create any visual effects like most of the others, It's just a very long and flexible sword.
Thing about Moon Breath is that we never saw what it actually looks like without Kokushibo's Demon Art infused to make "the elemental powers" actually real, unlike other Breathings. Making Moon the most mysterious of all, as its the only one who we never saw on its purest. Second being Thunder who we only saw the First Form as its purest.
I believe all his short sword forms are his previous moon breathing forms and he just does them out of nostalgia, without his BDA it would probably look the same except it isn't real.
inosuke's breathing was never derived from the sun to begin with, he made it himself portraying his barbaric side when it comes to slaying demons as well as where he came from and developed his fighting style aka Beast Breathing.
That’s true! I think they were talking about the styles mentioned in the series only though... Personally I would use Rain breathing, or Breath of Rain as some versions call it!
Ever since I was told that flame breathing is like a imitation form of sun breathing I can't look at it no other way now I feel like you should have to learn flame breathing before you can learn son breathing that's just how I feel about it
Beast isn't derived from wind They are just closely related to one another as they share similar elements like a wild, animalistic and aggressive fighting style. Beast is it's own separate breathing style that had to be classified as wind derived to make more sense
I still don’t get how beast breathing is derived from wind, because beast breathing was created by Inosuke without him knowing that other breathing styles exist. Is it because it looks so much like Wind breathing?
You can really tell Sound Breathing came from Thunder Breathing, just by the way Tengen Uzui fights at such high speeds and “Lighting” quick reflexes!! (Haha see I made a funny!)
Inosuke Beast Breathing is so unique, compared to others breathing...his breathing getting more and more evolve... Like unfinished techniques and unstable at the same time...but dangerous and serious damage when it got closer....only stop when he feels like it.
