This iconic Saiyan’s power is criminally underrated. Even before explaining exactly what it is about his power that literally puts him in a class of his own compared to other saiyans, his natural power is insane. We know his power when born was 10,000. That’s the equivalent Bardock’s power the day planet Vegeta was destroyed. Broly is NOT a super saiyan. He’s a legendary super saiyan and the difference is vital to understanding how strong he really is. The Legendary transformation can’t be learned. it’s genetically exclusive, meaning he was literally just born with it. The form is written to make him 9ft tall. Even at that height and tripling in muscle mass, he’s still as fast as ever. It’s also stated that the form causes the user’s ki to rise by the minute with no limit whatsoever and does the same for his stamina. The only drawback is that the user loses control of himself but we saw in the first movie that Broly was completely aware of what he was doing and had control of himself. If the first Broly movie were canon it would’ve had to have occurred after Goku and Gohan leave the time chamber but BEFORE the Cell Games. In the final clash between Cell and Gohan, Cell readies a kamehameha that he said could destroy the solar system. Even IN HIS BASE FORM AND FURTHER WEAKENED BY PARAGUS’ MIND CONTROL DEVICE, Broly still wrecked an entire galaxy and left behind a trial of energy strong enough for Goku to detect in his own separate galaxy. Let’s not forget that even while in that restrained SSJ form, Broly’s power had spiked so much and so fast that he didn’t try to block or dodge Super Vegeta’s direct hit kick to the neck and Big Bang attack because the damage was so minuscule. My point is, Broly only ONLY loses to plot. Literally the writers of Z themselves said that Broly is the strongest character in all of Z. Yes, even above Buu. If you’re gonna be one of those fans that disagrees with the people that wrote the plot and said this themselves, then I don’t know what to tell you.
