One thing I really loved about this hulk is how smart he is. Sure, he isn’t as smart as banner, but he is smart enough to use objects as weapons. He used that brown metal from that statue at the college as shields very effectively, and he used a police car as boxing gloves.
@@YEDxYED no, I’m just saying that that is ONE thing I liked about this hulk. There are many other reasons I really like this hulk, that was just the only one that I wanted to talk about
@@YEDxYEDI mean in fairness, tool usage IS the first sign of approaching human intellect, so for an animal Hulk is VERY smart. Edit: In other words the bar is on the dirt.
@@hernehaugen6878Hulk isnt really supposed to have a different brain, remember, Hulk is ALSO Human, and Hulk was just days old in this movie, you can see in Ragnarok that hes gotten pretty used to things such as speaking ever since he was atleast a couple years old.
You know the original script was for hulk to beat the unholy hell out of Thanos but decided that it would make Thanos look like he can easily be defeated with or without the stones...but they did say in a similar timeline hulk did not only beat Thanos but he ripped his head off.
I like the moment at 6:06 when Hulk looks tired for a second before getting his game face on. It's a very human moment. He seems sad that he has to fight because it means Betty will be in danger again.
@@mikhailabdurrachman2443 that's just a professor hulk okay professor hulk was never included as one of the savage beast Thanos will never beat the savage hulk from the comic that hulk will break Thanos neck
On top of that it seems like they didn't take the character seriously in The Avengers because all he does is out of place and for the sake of making audiences laugh. Also they rushed it when they put him in the final battle. The 2008 version is in my opinion the greatest incarnation of the Hulk on film.
I love how right after Hulk sees that Betty is in imminent danger, after Blonsky tells him to "watch her die", there's a moment when you see his eyes glow a brighter shade of green; it's like he's a nuclear reactor powering up :) Madder Hulk gets, stronger Hulk gets :)
@@tbone2123 You're very good bruh leave him he doesn't know what to say abomination will defeat iron man hulk buster I'm still saying it iron man hulk buster defeated the hulk from avengers lol incredible hulk will definitely crush him without a sweat
@@mikhailabdurrachman2443 lol someone has already answered you what I wanted to tell you is a pity that this hulk wasn't in avengers all through he wasn't a loser or never a loser he comes out top this hulk will overpowered all the character in avengers
@@TheStylerKingI have always agreed with that. This is the best hulk, his tragic story everything, he even looks like the way the hulk should look, but you know how these movie idiots, always mess things up. 🤑
Because those dick heads in Hollywood always mess things up. 😢 They don't know how to get anything right, God did I really love this hulk, the one that came after in the other movies suck big time. 👎😵
Hello, Mrs Norton. We all like your son’s other work. I assume this is Ed Morton’s mother because no one, not even Ed Norton, could objectively claim this is better than Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk in the Avengers films.
This is how Hulk is. They got it right in this movie, I think. He starts out weaker than some of his enemies at first. But the more abuse he endures, the stronger he becomes. And his strength eventually grows equal to, or passed the limits of his enemy.
Depends on the writer. However by far the first movie was a much better portrayal, in the comics he grows larger as he gets angrier. That doesn't happen here and his body proportions are silly. First movie blows this out of the park. Hope that 8 years has taught you some sense.
That does happen too in the Hulk movie before this which was a cool thing to watch. Obviously, there is other means of overcoming a problem even through radical evolution, but, eh, big green man getting bigger was never wrong a choice when done right.
In my opinion: what makes this film stand out from others is that this is the only one in which the Hulk uses his 2 traditional moves and his traditional speech in one scene.
Am I the only one who really, really liked this movie? It had some badass action and actually made the Hulk really scary in the early scenes. Kind of bums me out that there is barely any mention of it in the more recent Marvel films although the Abomination is mentioned in an episode of Agents of Shield which I appreciated.
+Jarrecko Like this movie too, i prefer this Hulk than the other from the Avengers Personally. This one was savage as fuck and as you said pretty scary as well!
I always loved this scene. Throughout the movie Hulk was mostly beastial, and yet in this one fight scene they manage to have him unlock his signature Thunderclap, utter his famous words, AND have his eyes glow green in that one scene. It's a shame they couldn't bring back THIS Hulk and Banner for the Avengers, because I personally liked them better. Even if they couldn't bring Norton back (Which they couldn't), they could have at least brought the Hulk from it back.
This was the best version of the live action Hulk.. Tbh if they bring back this Hulk in Avengers he will overpower every character in Avengers also will easily defeat Thanos. That's why they created new Version of Hulk and limited his ability and Power. The sad part was they "soften" the Hulk character when they make him to become professor Hulk. 😌👌👌👌
The best Hulk movie scene of all times! Till this day, any other hulk movie has not been even close to this movie! Respect to Mr. Norton and graphics team worked on this movie 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@cole6474 the military chased him down and never talk to him like a person which is shown often in the comic and movie, he never destroy anything in purpose. Monster destroy in purpose despite it's form, be scary or the person next to you, you never know
As someone that grew up with the 90s hulk game(s), this really hits in the nostalgia feels. The "HULK SMASH" and utilizing cars as weapons, really awesome. Makes me feel old af
This was really prime Hulk. Marvel/Disney took an extremely disturbed, flawed, but ultimately good man and just kept making him more and more of a joke because they didn't want Universal to make any money.
***** .. Wrong. Norton has come out and said he never wanted to be in the Avengers. In fact, they never even asked him. He just found out one day they chose Ruffalo.
This fight is more brutal than I remember. I mean, it's not bloody, but holy shit. They kick the hell out of each other. I love it. It's been awhile since I've seen this movie. I'll have to go back and watch it
@@davideogamer8086hulk ripped a part of abomination’s arm off then stabbed him with it, then chocked him with chains. I think hulk did some brutal fighting
beating thanos while also almost losing to abomination? bruh he would have lost without the chain choke. this abomination was tearing hulk up until the choke.
I remember people actually loved this back in the 2000's when it was new. But then when the Avengers came out, people starting ripping on it and all the 2000's hero flicks "oh it was too edgy, oh too dark, oh too angsty...". I also guess its because of the 'Out with the old, in with the new' mentality sheepish people tend to display. But now they regret it.
one of the best one sided fights in my opinion, nothing hulk did had any effect on abomination until the chain choke, also a lot of scenes of the battle it looked like the hulk was fatigued and was slow to get up. Abomination should have won tbh.
why so can get his butt beat again? without the chain choke he would have lost, and badly too, abomination was tossing him around like a rag doll, this hulk did no damage to abomination until the choking.
@@davideogamer8086this hulk version can beat Thanos because the more is angry the more he gets better in terms of skills just look the way he fights is amazing
before the chain choke there wasn't any sign of him getting better, i never saw the hulk kicking abomination through buildings, like the abomination did to him. another generic action hero thats gets completely beat up until the last 30 seconds. @@4fun733
I've said it before and I'll say it again; Norton's Hulk and Banner was the absolute best. We deserved more than just this one movie. One of my favorite scenes in this movie wasn't the action scenes...it was the vulnerable moment of Hulk and Betty in the cave during the storm. You see a confused and scared child-like person with anger issues in the Hulk. He really seems like he just wants peace and quiet in his life, instead of fighting and running all the time. You also see it in his face for a quick second when he's about to fight Abomination the first time. He looks like he really doesn't want to fight, but able to instant get angry to get the job done. I've always related to this version of Hulk...I've always been bigger and steonger than most, and will fight when I have to; but all I truly want in my life is peace, love, and tranquility.
I'm a hulk fan beyond life and way after death....well because like you said we can all relate to hulk (even if some like me don't have abusive fathers) but even though hulk loves Betty like myself he just wants to be alone somewhere with no one to hurt him or hurt the few who care about him.
The one thing I liked about this Hulk/movie is that as he gets angrier he not only get stronger but gets bigger. This is kind of a lost lore I wish they're bring back. It referenced, not too often, in comics back in my day, but how awesome would it be to note how angry he is by referencing his size and that you see him grow during distress. CGI would have a field day.
I said it once, and I'll say it again. This should've been the Hulk in all the Marvel movies. Not only does the monster appear scary, but Norton looks almost as the actor from the 70s, the incredible Hulk show.
Ohh shit What juicy punches and a fight there are in general, you can feel this titanic power in the blows. Ugh, it's a pity the world won't see such a hulk anymore…
Hulk was my favourite, terrifyingly badass and very interesting. But Marvel ruined it with shitty scripts and bad cast. Will never forgive marvel for this.
I love this fight. It's intense! My 3 favorite superhero movie fights are (1) Hulk vs Abomination (2) Superman vs Faora (3) Spider-Man vs Dr. Octopus on the train.
Danjosh DP Yes, I am definitely hoping for an "Incredible Hulk 2." I love to see the Hulk face The Leader. Also, I want to see a better version of Absorbing Man, because the version from Ang Lee's Hulk could have been so much better. So I'm hoping for a "Incredible Hulk 2" someday.
Hulk will always be one of the best super heroes. I used to watch the animated version & the original hulk as a kid in Primary & elementary school. Hulk has the Heart for humanity but a beast on the outside. I like the way Hulk understands the difference between good & bad. The end of the movie where Hulk wipes the tears of the Generals daughter, gets me all the time. After the Helicopter crash lands. Best movie. Commenting from Papua New Guinea🇵🇬 South Pacific.
If you guys loved this then you should check out Hulk vs Abomination in the comics. He absolutely obliterates Abomination I mean almost kills him and ass kicking lol
The marvel universe, Not the disney mcu. But the marvel universe, was gonna go beyong bigger than any cinema masterpiece could ever achieve and greed really got the best of it
