"For those who don't understand the hatred towards shephard, this is why" *I did not sign up to see Ghost and Roach get shot by him again for the 18289137169th time ... but I appreciate the 60Fps...*
All Cod games that were on PS3/X360 already had 60fps lock... Look it up yourself, there's plenty of videos about CoD games performance on old gen consoles
In the mission: Team Player, you hear some Rangers say "since when does Shepherd care about Danger Close?" Price says the same thing at the end of the game when Shepherd blows up his own men.
There is another one in SSDD. When you finish with the tutorial and go to the left there is a guy sitting in front of a bunch of weapons on walls. The very back left wall of weapons has old R700 snipers from the original MW and a framed picture with price and gaz and a third signed saying "thanks for playing"
Had to boot up the game to go find this. You’re right. There’s also the m40 sniper, the m14 with iron sights, a barrett, the w1200 and the m1014 shotguns on the weapon racks all from cod 4. Also interesting to note that there is m16s and m4s there too but their models are different to both cod 4 and mw2 games models.
Actually, there's an Easter egg that you forgot to put in your video: In "the hornet's nest" mission you have an automatic rifle ( the first weapon you have in this mission ) with something written in it: M4C-7AV15H, Wich means Mac-Tavish.
The soldiers talking about ghost in the beginning were voiced by will arenett and 50 cent. I remember them having cameos in the OG MW2. They must have just used the same voice lines.
You forgot the Easter egg on wolverines where at the end of the mission when you walk into the destroyed building and go towards the kitchen you see a Russian solder looking through the fridge
The Teddy bear with the golden Desert Eagle is a reference to Modern Warfare 3. There's a multiplayer map where if you spectate the map one unique part of the map, you'll find a teddy bear with two golden Desert Eagles. This is just my theory.
i think i found an easter egg on “Gulag” if you walkin into one of the prison cells you can find prisoner #626 which is one number from Captain Price (#627)
Not only were those two guys at the start talking about ghost and soap, the voices kept alternating between famous actors like 50 cent and Will Arnett I think.
I always remember gearing up in the museum level and trying to survive mind you i was around 7 at the time lol i never got it but ima fuck that shit up now
If you push yourself forward while on the cliff in “cliffhanger”, your character wobbles, falls, and then the death screen quotes are little jokes to do with falling, such as: “when you fall, I’ll be there -ground” and “a falling man appreciates the gravity of the situation”
Also in the mission "Team Player" when the we are on the bridge with the minigun and the missile is fired on the building, the soldiers were recording that using their smartphones. In the original game, they used flip phones.
@@Aplesedjr It isn't a detail, more of a setting. Plus, it sounds dumb to say, "Oh yeah, it sure is a really cool detail that this game came out on a different date than it takes place in!"
9:01 Ghost: "Ozone, make sure no one leaves through the kitchen." Ozone: "Roger that." Ghost: "Scarecrow, give me a sitre-... Roach, what the f&%* are you doing?"
Go to the "Pit" and look to the left, you can find a list of names who have completed the course. You will find the name "Ramirez" and his time in The Pit.
Hey I found an easter egg while I was playing during the mission "Wolverines!" And I went through the gas station and saw on the magazine rack with the title "Marines Team" and on the cover it has some funny remarks about pressing F to pay respects and other comments on it.
In the mission “just like old times” you can hear radio chatter from shadow company, one being “I’ve seen this tactics before they’re SAS!” And just in general incorporation of background chatter made it feel way more immersive than before.
andrea lugo they’re the most wanted men in the world for nuking the east coast And shepherd announces its price during their attack on hotel site bravo
The guy with a chocolate bar might be a nod to the HBO series Generation Kill. One of the officers always carries candy bars in his vest and you see him eating one in combat.
@@Goose2001 I went and watched that part of the episode last night and you are exactly right. I also played the original campaign last night and found another Gen kill reference. When going to the pit you can hear a couple soldiers discussing a combat jack, just like in the show.
@@Dragonfly12370 A combat Jack is the act of "relieving" yourself during war. An episode of Generation Kill is titled Combat Jack and and it is talked about, and executed, several times in the show.
@@f3ro218 i think its to do with the easter egg on the map lockdown from mw3. If you go in to spectator mode and go to a certain window you will see a massive Teddy bear with 2 gold desert eagle
In the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on the mission Hornet Nest when Roach fell down you can actually defend yourself by picking up a M4a1 with a Grenade Launcher where you can find beside you when you get up but gotta pick it up fast and start running before the enemies kills you :)
The name of the mission where Russians invade America being called “Wolverines!” Is a reference to the movie Red Dawn where the resistance against the Russians was called the wolverines
1:53 As a military member, I appreciate that even the NPC's recognize that Soap and Ghost are totally out of regs, as cool as they are. Then again, Spec Ops guys never give a shit about regs. Who's gonna stop them?
@@spoodurmin9742 Yeah we had some SEALs on our ship when I was on Deployment in the USMC. They looked raggedy as fuck lmao, they wore like nike sneakers or showershoes (Flip-flops but cheaper) in their uniform with big ass beards and they didn't give a FUUUUUCK about anything lmao. They were some of the coolest guys I talked to. :)
You forgot the melee kill Animation in the mission "Cliffhanger". If you go to the first 2 enemies and use your knife instead of shooting like soap says it shows a special animation.
1:45 I swear that dude who says "Uh I don't think those guys were Delta..." is the same voice actor as one of the Shadow Company soldiers in Just Like Old Times, named Oxide.
Not sure if this counts as an easter egg, but in "Of Their Own Accord", you can find a roster of the entire platoon the Rangers are assigned to, and all the names are canonical, as you can see certain members show up in your squad like Wade and McChord in just about every mission. If you play through the missions enough times, you can actually piece together what happens to your platoon throughout the campaign and who dies or survives by way of gameplay or radio chatter.
Also in wolverines, i found an enemy completely oblivious to the war going on and just digging through a refrigerator, it was the big house with the pillars in it. Idk if you could count it as an easter egg though
On cliffhanger if you fall off at the start it says “Don’t worry, Humpty had a great fall too” or “if you fall ill be there for you - floor” and also in cliffhanger if you go to take out the two enemies with melee it would use the tools you use to scale the cliff to kill them both
I’m the mission “Loose Ends” on one of the tables you can find a nod to “Piccadilly” from Modern Warfare 2019 where it says that Makarov caused the attack
i might be wrong but I'm pretty sure that Makarov attacking Piccadilly was a thing in the original MW2 lore somewhere, so if anything the MW 2019 mission is more of a nod to that
Its trivial and forgivable, though. But he mentions Of their Own Accord to be Act II last mission but it was Act III first mission at least according to original MW2
@@decderbyshire1145 yeah Contingency was the first mission of Act 3 in the original and it is also supposed to be the first mission of Act 3 in the remastered version
There's actually a nice little reference that most people miss in the mission "Team Player" when the Rangers watch the building get taken down and one asks "Isn't this danger close for the Task Force?" to which the other responds "Since when does Shepherd care about danger close?" It's a nice little phrase that hearkens to the last mission where you exit the cave and Price says the same exact phrase. Also further cementing the fact that TF-141 was in Afghanistan.
@@Salival46.2 I made a mental note of it in the old games but I didn't think it was _the_ Task Force they were referring to. Heck, I didn't even know that conversation existed in the tutorial mission till today.
Ugandan Knuckles brother the first time i finished the original game and played it again i knew the team player was a foreshadow it aint that much of a secret
Will Arnett and 50 cent. 50 cent was also in the original, on the first mission, he says something like "get your ass in the vehicle" before you get in the humvee
The Time Paradox achievement was still the best easter egg in the MW1 remaster out of the two games. Similar to getting Shepard, but you get a unique mission failure cutscene. Not only that, but they also added in Makarov to the 'All Ghillied Up' mission as part of the eater egg and to fit the timeline.-- similar to how they added in Yuri here in MW2.
I gotta give props to beenox, they didn’t just copy + paste the game and update the graphics. They added some new Easter eggs, fixed some glitches, and even added some new animations and achievements to give the game some more replay value. Really good remaster, even if $20 is a bit much for just a short campaign.
So I found an Easter egg in Modern Warfare (2019) that has to deal with the bear and I don't know if you have found this or not but in the map Atlas Superstore there is a toy section. It contains the same exact bear as the other games. It even has the star on it's chest
There’s also bears located throughout Verdansk in Warzone. Leading me to believe they will sooner or later be releasing a zombies type of mode for Warzone
Yeah i'm pretty happy that I actualy decided to cover it. I wasn't sure if it was worth it, but after discovering the rock, paper, scissors easter egg I had to haha
There’s an alleyway right in the first fighting area In Hornet’s nest. If you go all the way to the right and follow that wall, there’s an opening covered by bushes. Walk through there and there’s some posters and a bear with a star on its chest
Also in the museum, there’s 2 secret weapons from mwr; the 1911 and the w1200. The 1911 is in the display case and the w1200, you have to kill one of the soldiers for the contingency exhibit and they’ll drop it
In regards to gameplay? No way. I see the cinematic appeal, but jeah, all of COD is basically a rail shooter with free walking and no innovative gameplay whatsoever
@Captain Eggcellent What few people realized is that in S.S.D.D, when listening in on the conversation between those soldiers about Ghost and Soap, one of them is actually voice acted by 50 Cent, which I think is awesome. In the original MW2, one of his songs was being played on the radio where those two soldiers were playing basketball and they removed it here to add this little detail
Another little detail about the gold desert eagle is that it’s the mw3 model rather than the mw2. It doesn’t have the tac light under the barrel and the sights are different.
