Fun fact. I did the sound design for all the campaign takedowns in Cold War and I also did the Pistol and Knife sets in this game 😊 Edit : thank you all for the kind words! I also did most of the multiplayer executions that you can currently use. It has been a lot of fun working with IW!
Cold War literally had those same sound effects, like bones cracking and cloth tearing. You can even hear them choke on their own blood on some of Cold War's executions.
6:04 There's also more unique takedowns on these armored soldiers in the tunnel when you resurface from the water. Otherwise, thanks for showcasing these takedowns On the side note, the PS4 version you can't see your characters legs most of the time, so when you do a takedown that involves kicking, it's just not there.
I never even knew that you could do that to them I was playing the campaign on veteran and I basically thought you just had to kill them loudly it was a nightmare
I been looking for a full video of the campaign takedowns for a bit. Gotta say a majority I didn't know you could even do. Especially with the pistol takedowns.
Your statement kinda contradicts itself, if he was shooting him in the mouth then it wouldn't harm his hand since it's placed on his forehead, not the mouth.

Montes I was playing the alone mission again and at the part in the tunnel where you do underwater takedowns u can do takedowns above the water that will trigger special animations as well like there’s one where you stab them in the neck and slowly drop them into the water
now THIS is how melee takedowns should look in MP, I don't wanna watch some military guy do a backflip before throwing a knife at his opponent's neck.. i wanna watch a quick stab to the throat and that's it, it's more brutal than whatever they show now.
I have problems with takedowns in the ps4 campaign. Several times it happens that I get close to the enemy, the takedown command appears on the screen and I cannot execute it at all. What's the problem ? Maybe in the game settings or is it a bug in the game?
0:04 / 2:09 - Does anyone know where the skin the view model has in this (and a few other executions) is from? I see an American flag patch and a watch on it from 2019, but I don't know whereabouts this skin/uniform is used in the entire game.
Wait, does Soap have arm tattoos or not? In the first takedown showcase he does, but in other missions he doesn’t. I highly doubt he would’ve had an opportunity to get them added or removed. Kind of annoying, as I really like them.
@@venommagnus coming in a month later for no reason to clarify that those aren’t ghosts tattoos, it’s just the default model they use. You can see the same tattoos and little watch in the MW19 Alpha
