Super sir i 100% agree this battery issue, same problem happened with my battery but the product is different. In one of my indoor AC remote, the display of remote is LCD display, when ever i try to press any buttons the screen light will on all buttons will work all setting will work, and the remote will go to idle and the screen light will off after 10 seconds, If i press any buttons now the entire remote will reset and starts from begining, i thought it was a fault remote because... i checkd the batteries in the multimeter which was showing 1.4V and 1.45V both the batteries. i thought battery was fine, but the culprit is mainly the battery, because there was a low amps delivered by the battery, and it was just a normal alkaline battery. When i changed it to new battery it worked well and never resetted. Never trust the battery..!

As you said it is no use of just checking the voltage of a Battery with a Multimeter. It is necessary to check the Battery Amphere ( power) of the Battery. Thank you Brother for your information 🙏👍👍👍
