Step 1. Go into instant action and select the hero option. Step 2. Set the unlock to timer, and set it to 1. Step 3. Set the respawn timer to 1. Step 4. Go to the Tantive IV map and select "conquest" then select "clone wars" then launch. Step 4. Pick the CIS. Step 5. Become General Grievous as soon as you are asked. Step 6. *CRITICAL STEP* use your sprint to get to the republic's command post, do not worry about the others. Step 7. Stay inside the room next to the command post (the one with all the monitors) or stay near the command post but DO NOT capture it. Final step. Use General Grievous's op blades to destroy the entire clone army. You have now successfully turned Star Wars Battlefront, into Dynasty Warriors, enjoy 👍
@@carnage0685 Especially if playing Galactic Conquest where the hero bonus allows you to start the match as him (also works as Rebels with Luke). I sprinted to the enemy command post before they could capture any and trapped the entire team with regular attacks and saber throws.
@@popculturepatrician7570 My god, yes. Every time, yes. Arguably the best part of Galactic Conquest. Actually, no, it's HANDS DOWN the best part of Galactic Conquest.
Yaven 4 Arena does have Anakin Skywalker on the lightside which is pretty neat since in the original game he is only playable on Mustafar outside of Hero Assault and the Campaign.
Pretty sure it was because in BF2 they removed all air vehicles on ground battles (in favour of the shitty space battles), and Bespin Platforms was a map made around air vehicles in BF1.
Yavin #4 Arena is one of my favorite maps because everyone is so focused on the Arena. Just literally capture the other vehicle command post and now you just set yourself up for the best base defense game in Star Wars history.
I really wish the developers at pandemic back in the day ported all the battlefront 1 maps in to battlefront 2, because so many of the maps imo are better in 1 and more nostalgic overall. It's a shame Aspyr didn't do it when the game re-released. It's fine though, gives me a reason to play the OG!
if that bug where half of your ai team is gathering in the corner and not helping in naboo is still in the game then theed should be the worst map by default
Off topic but What I want is for them to do a mod menu for the second game for all consolos in which you can download mods for new planets, characters, space to ground combat, bigger galactic conquest ect. Like I want that umbara map mod someone made so bad.
I think the reason Anakin is the hero on GC for the Empire on Mustafar is because by the time Anakin arrives here, the droid army is defeated. Anakin also has Force Choke, which would be off-putting for the good guy army. Also, Obi-Wan is the hero for the rebels here. Allows for their iconic battle.
I was always going to Death Star and Tantive IV and ya gotta end on Hoth my favorite battle in the movies but I’m warming up to Coruscant and Mos Eisley
Mace windu on coruscant would make sense since he fought on the ground during the invasion to kidnap palpatine in the OG clone wars cartoon that came out when the game did. Would also explain anakin and asajj ventress on yavin
Love this game so much always have but I’m just realizing that Anakin and Dooku are only playable on one map each and that’s just absurd. Even Vader only has 4 maps(5 including Bespin)
Not sure how feasible it is but you should totally do videos on renegade squadron and elite squadron. Not many people are aware of them and I don’t think anyone has covered them in depth.
@@brudbrud9137 it pains me that the classic collection didn’t include those games; because at least with BF 1&2, you have the og PS2, og Xbox, Xbox one, Series X, and pc to play. But elite and renegade are only on the psp and pc (not fully sure but I believe there’s emulators)
You and i are not dissimilar in our hatred for dagobah. However, ill argue it's worse than Yavin Arena simply because of the cave command post being next to impossible to capture without a significant advantage for the attacking team. Also Dagobah has some very bad vibes.
His list isn't too bad, though. More sophisticated yet balanced maps are a lot better, and that sophistication usually brings lots of tight corridors for CQC.
It’s a balance for me. Geonosis: Spire is my favorite from BF1, but in BF2 large maps like Felucia can be fun but ultimately Rhen Var: Citadel and Polis Massa I never get tired of
Personally i cant stand mos Eisley or coursaunt i do agree geonosis is a huge downgrade from the previous game but i still like it. I think Rhen var citadel is my favorite
Not too relevant to the lists but... how is the Yavin campaign mission enjoyable? It's pretty much exclusively capturing command posts then killing 3 guys at the end. Easily the worst mission in the campaign for me. Not trying to hound you this comes from a place of pure curiosity.
Polis Massa is trash. Holding that Surgical Theater Checkpoint is awful and will likely lose you the match if you have to defend it from the south. Not to mention it spawns you further away from the point than the attackers. It also gives the attackers two attack routes while defenders only have one choke point to reach it.
At the age of 7 I would always start out my instant action runs playing the Death Star, Dagobah, then Mos Eisley as the Imperial faction before doing anything else. Even at my age I still do it for the sake of nostalgia and tradition. I would even rank these as my three favorite maps (Objective reasons aside, I understand why ppl dislike Dagobah). I personally think Dagobah is vastly underrated. The dark, desolate swamps added a level of eeriness and surrealism to each of my fights. The problems with visibility, difficulty spotting 'nades in the water, and strafing in and out of trees and shrubbery was always cool to me. Plus I loved the Easter Eggs (Crashed X-Wing, Yoda's hut, Vader's breathing in the underground part of the map).
Dagobah is such a letdown! It's impossible to hold a CP because they get overrun two second after you take them! >.< I also hate how you can't properly pilot the damned speeder on Hoth. Every time I try to do a harpoon run, the speeder does a barrel-roll and drops the cable. Why?? Those speeders were in the map for one thing, and they gone and broke it! >.< I hate Coruscant. It feels like a good design, but it's actually full of bottlenecks and the central hall is just chaos. Not fun.
A good video idea would be command posts to AVOID, for example the northwest command post on Naboo due to the glitch by the pillars. Or just a video on glitches to exploit in general
