Ya that is actually really cool. Few would do that reach a certain level of success. I’d say that qualifies as one of the better things a person can do when faced with doing nothing and doing something truly nice for her community. Very few people with that kind of goodness in the world today sadly.
I just went on a school trip to Dollywood for band and yesterday it did not open till like 4:30 and I had to go to the award ceremony and we it was done it was a 75 minute wait and we had to leave in a hour so I couldn’t do sadly
The Fire Chaser really gives me vibes of Disney's Big Thunder but then it has the TWIST! The backwards travel to run from the explosives is just amazing. This park has decent theming from what I watched. Can't wait to visit!
Lightening Rod was the BEST coaster I ever rode on! You are out of your seat so much on this one and the speed is woohoo! Don't sit in the very first seat if you wear contacts, you'll regret it. 2nd seat on first car is much better for wind block.
I went in September and I'm normally afraid of upside roller coasters in particular. I rode all of the coasters there, and they're honestly not as scary as they look! I enjoyed every single one.
I'm old enough to remember when Blazing Fury had a water splash at the end. I guess it was too expensive to maintain ): There was also a flooded mine boat ride there when I was a kid in the same area. Had really cool theming, like the queue lines looked like cell doors and the staff were dressed in striped inmate uniforms. I hope we can go back soon now that we have young kids of our own now.
Go to silver dollar city and ride fire in the hole its almost the exact same with water splash but sadly it might get taken down soon its too old and has breakdowns more often RMC is making a new fire in the hole in the park by fireman’s landing im guessing its going to be an RMC hybrid kid coaster
Lighting rod I was so excited to ride on but it was way too bumpy and rough they made slot of changes it doesn’t shoot up anymore and it causes damage to your head I was very disappointed
Lightning Rod was my first rollercoaster experience ever, and it is a MUST ride!! The videos do not do these rides justice, Lightning Rod and Wild Eagle are INSANE!!
@@equinoxlmao1179 They changed the layout and made that one vertical drop less steep. The coaster doesn't have that banked turnaround anymore. Newer POVs show this change.
I love how your going on all these roller coasters and not even getting sick!! I really wish I didn’t have motion sickness. I have to be very cautious of what roller coasters I go on
The Firechaser is great! I’ve been on it twice and loved it. I wish it didn’t have such a long wait though. The first time I waited 35 minutes, the second time I waited 65 minutes.
Lol I remember when I went on Mystery Mine the lady controlling everything said “Keeeeeeep your boots on miners!” Every time there was a new set of people riding 😂
If everything goes well then I should be going to Dollywood this September. Can't wait to go! Edit: It was a lot of fun! The coasters are very intense.
@Maninyourwalls They're both a lot of fun! Lightning Rod was probably the most intense one in my opinion. But all the coasters are great, I recommend you try out all of them. Just know that Lightning Rod is known for having frequent downtime. I almost didn’t get the chance to go on it.
I live about 20 minutes away from Dollywood and let me say when it’s not incredibly busy it is the best time you’ll ever have. If you want to take the five minute drive away from it to pigeon Forge where they have a Margaritaville and a Tourist paradise. Oh, also, at Dollywood, they have the best cinnamon rolls you ever taste in your life.
I went to Dollywood after an orchestra competition in the area and sitting in the front row of lighting rod was my first experience on a roller coaster
I've only been on thunderhead mystery mine and the eagle and blaze n fury they were fun we may go again like in 3 weeks because summer break and I got the season pass so I cant wait to go on more rides!
It wasn’t my first coaster ever, but it was supposed to be my first coaster at the park. It was closed for the morning so I rode it later in the day, but just barely. After the people in front of us got off they test ran the ride three times before finally letting us on. Then I think they closed the ride again, possibly for the rest of the day.
I went yesterday I overcame my fears and rode every one except for lightning rod. I will say my favorite was probably the dragonfly and Tennessee tornado very nice.
I was scared of roller coasters but my very first roller coaster experiance was recent. I went to universal for grad bash to face my fears and my first ever roller coaster was haggrids moter bike. I was going in completely blind to the park I had fun the ride was awesome! Though the fear crept back in after a while I eventually after a couple minutes ride more stuff I was so happy with myself that night
@@gamer-jm6my You're brave, I went to great America in Chicago, and I only rode the whizzer and I was done, I wanted to try more but I was just burnt out and my dad got mad and told me he wasn't gonna take me or my mom out to an amusement park ever again
It seems that this amusement park is nestled in the beautiful Blue Rich Mountains in Tennessee. It reminds me being in the black forest or Spessart in Germany.
i dont know if this comment is for fear of an accident but you're more likely to die driving to the amusement park than dying because of a coaster malfunction.
It's all pretty standard stuff.Except for the lightning rod. It doesn't have a chest restraint and instead it holds your shin and the top of your thigh plus a pair of handlebars to hang onto.
Lightning Rod Coaster will never be the same without it’s iconic Launch up the Hill say what you want about the edition of a fast paced Chain lift.added this year in 24
A lot of these coasters have a uniqueness about them... I'm thinking that even though she doesn't do the actual design of these coasters per se, I got a feeling that Miz Dolly _definitely_ has a say on _where_ they're gonna go, and just _how_ they're gonna behave!
so angry i couldn’t ride lighting rod at my first visit, but i had an AMAZING time here. I went closing week and besides from the christmas event, nothing seemed abnormal. highly recommended, but im a little peeved i couldn’t ride launched lightning rod.
This is coming from a coaster enthusiast, that is not Walbash Cannonball. They are two extremely different rides, Tennessee Tornado is almost twice the height, and Wabash Canonball is now scrap metal in a field 😊. It’s been there rotting for over 30 years.
My first rollar coaster ever was thunder head…….I looked and said “ah that doesn’t have any upside down stuff and it’s a nice track with some decent looking speed”……yeah I about pissed my pants 😂
