I've been someone that's complained about how many costumes there are, but I'm digging the Dark Naruto variation and I love the multiple color schemes to choose from. Though, costumes are still a bit inconsistent. Iruka doesn't have a normal Leaf headband, but Jiraiya gets a special costume for what he looks like at his death via Pain?
The whole game screams "inconsistency". Btw i'm happy with the customization because i've never played that spinoff in which you could do it so it's something completely new to me
Love all the outfits but I hope they could keep adding new ones. Long haired Sakura and Ino from part 1, Storm 1 Kabuto with the headband and arm warmers, Zabuza’s camo outfit, Tsunade without her Haori, and Sage mode Naruto without the cape (and both sage and regular Naruto without the headband)
@123jov5 there's a few more that they could be nice additions. Like the black and yellow hebi cloaks, and the white leaf village search cloaks, but I'd imagine they'd be hard to animate so it's definitely wishful thinking
I wanted Obito's skin as half Zetsu in his redemption arc, guruguru style skin for Tobi adult Sasuke with bandaged arm and Jūzõ Biwa as a playable character 😢
Right? Regular hashirama and edo hashirama are 2 different models. The fact that they have alive remodeled hashirama in storm 4's cutscene really pisses me off. All they have to do is use the storm 4 model and add the sage mode effects when he uses UJ, since technically senju shinshuu is his only 'sage jutsu'(just like they did with sage naruto). I'm keeping my hopes up, since they said they'll add costumes at a later date.
I hate how they simplified the qtes in connections. QTEs were fun, gave health back and that could help you net an S rank easier bc the S rank requirement was completing a fight with 80% health. they also removed the qte fails, but then again how do you fail qtes????
I mean to be fair, in the first Storm game, QTEs could be actually difficult to do on the harder difficulty levels, especially the Orochimaru and Lord Manda boss. You had to input them exactly in perfect rhythm; even the slightest hesitation or misinput, and you failed then.
To be fair some of the boss battle requirements of those storm games was pretty hard to hit the full S rank, especially the giant boss fights because you need to perfectly time your attacks to deal just enough damage but also be quick enough to get the hell out of the way to doge a massive combo attack by the giant enemies. Here at least it's more streamlined for newer players, which seems like their intention since they added stuff like "simple controls" to clearly draw in new players.
Love how this game has practically no new costumes, no new colours, substation items or anything. Just a new story mode and like 8 new characters... Really not worth the $50+ price tag lol. Typical CC2 being scummy and giving us the bare minimum to justify an entirely new console release.
Thank you for keeping it real, Storm used to be special but this game does not deserve any hype whatsoever. I honestly hope it tanks sales-wise but I think the allure and nostalgia of Storm and the Naruto name itself will let this lazy piece of trash get good sales.
@@kornishoni5266 could but was not made, so If someone wants to play a new Naruto game with good performance in consoles the only option is connections
*10 new characters, with some of the older characters even having some new Justus they didn't have before.... But yeah it kinda sucks there is no new costumes, colors, items..... It's nice you can attach one to each part of the body, but it's still very limiting.
