Really not sure why they haven’t given Naruto the entire Kakarot experience yet, the amount of money I would pay for that is absurd. Yes I know storm and chronicles exist but it doesn’t itch the scratch and level of emersion and detail this series deserves
They did that in the ultimate ninja 2 ,4,5 series it was dope af playing the open mode / story and interact with map and npc back in the ps2 days ( few game that had that feature too especially anime game ) i wish they add that back to storm

Well yeah, it's not like they used a new engine it basically looks the same as storm 4 for the most part which makes sense since 70% of the content is re-used while the other 30% is new stuff.... Can't expect CC2 to make an entire new story mode... They did it for this new campaign of boruto but that's about it.... I imagine it takes a lot of time to have the flashy boss battles appear like that since you really got to move the hell out of those character models. But yeah I think this is pretty much the last storm game they are going to do.... If CC2 does a new Naruto game I think it's going to be something completely different.
Definitely not dropping $60 for the same game I been playing for a decade 😆. I honestly have no idea what more game mechanics they can add if a Storm 5 ever happen. Like add Boruto stuff and that’s kinda it. I think they would have to completely change the game to like a create a ninja clan, fully open world, modern graphics, and like some grand theft Ninja type of transformation😆 I just don’t really know what more they can possibly do with this franchise game. Does anyone think they should adopt the ninja ranking system for the different editions of the game? For example the The base game could be the "genin edition" and the $115 version of the game could be the "hokage edition"with the $85 and the $95 editions being the chunin and jonin versions of the game.

Well it had Customization and that Ninja world tournament that I wish came back and a Festival island to free roam as ANY character and A Mecha-Naruto story that was pretty cool and Ninja Escapades like “Creation of the Akatsuki” and the first Storm game to introduce Team Ultimate jutsu and the only Storm game to Have Madara’s True perfect Susuno True Awakening that got butchered in Storm 4 and The Reanimated First Hokage Buddha True Awakening and Obito’s Actually real Ten tails form that was stolen away from him in Storm 4.
You're wrong about this game not being Storm 5 for one simple reason: DLC exists. It's exactly why we didn't get another half-step game for the 7 years between Storm 4 and now, and it's why nobody would bother developing a second game concurrently. Any developments going on behind the scenes are future DLCs for Storm Connections. There may be a Storm 5 one day but it'll be in 5-8 years, not any time soon.
A lot of anime games tend to drop DLC incredibly fast compared to other games, usually in less than a year they dropped all the needed dlc, unless they plan to keep this game alive like XenoVerse 2 which i highly doubt.
I didn't think there will be a storm 5..... They said they don't want to make storm games anymore so this is it. The next Naruto game (if they decide to do one) will be completely different like Shinobi Strikers.... Something really unique it can be anything really.... It could even be an RPG 🤷
FINALLY SOMEONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS!!! I’ve been saying connections is just filler since they announced. Especially when they don’t really focus on the cannon of the main story too too much in the games like this and revolution, generations, and is not a numbered title. I can’t wait for the real STORM 5

I’ve never played a Naruto game that wasn’t boring and repetitive, and I’ve played almost all of them (Still working on some of the extremely old ones).. They have some interesting mechanics but never really go the distance. Fights feel like button mashing with no genuine control, open worlds aren’t so open and traveling is slow and boring, barely any dialogue outside of cut scenes are actually voice acted, and you never get to actually feel like you’re role playing as your favorite characters and get full control of them in an immersive environment. After the first couple hours just playing feels like a chore. The story is like an animated and interactive recreation of the manga/anime, which is not at all what I personally am interested in. The fights also feel like an interactive movie after playing over and over again… You just watch the characters do the same moves over and over with no real variety. I want to move quickly through the leaf village using 8 gates or tailed beast powers and fight unique ninja instead of random mobs of nobodies, in that same world. I want to truly feel like I’m experiencing a quality Naruto game that leaves me begging for more rather than falling asleep after playing for 10 minutes. Please bring us an open world rpg Naruto game! Update: I totally forgot about Shinobi Striker! It didn’t have enough maps, but I really did enjoy that game.
Good question. Cuz we got Storm 1, Storm 2, Storm Generations, Storm 3, Storm Revolution, Storm 4, and now Storm Connections. Storm 5 would make the most sense given their pattern for the last 14 years.

I know nothing of Naurato but this vid was in my recommended. Back in 2007 DBZ Tenkaichi 3 had 98 different characters, 161 if you count the characters different forms and transformations. I’m surprised this has become the norm for anime games lol. It would take me 10 minutes just to pick a character from a 130 character roster.
I more like 60 different characters and the rest are naruto and sasuke different versions... (I know im exaggerating but feels like that). While is a big roaster in reality a lot of it is just different versions of the same character, altho most of the time they do have a big difference between their versions so isnt to much of a problem.
Storm 4 is one of my favorite games, ofc im gonna buy it. I really enjoy playing the game with the competetive community on a higher level. Im really excited for less Switch tech and the removal of sub-banking along with other changes to the gameplay.
Im only buying this because I only bought the base storm 4 previously and didnt buy those DLCs ever since. So I will finally enjoy those DLC contents when I get this Naruto x Boruto ninja storm

This just lazy…storm 4 first released in 2016 they had a 7 year gap and didn’t even think about updating the side cast with new movesets shikamaru, itachi, neji, rock lee etc…. I would like to see more interest in side characters we got fans who like them we got rin combos and never see. Her fight like cmon bro….
True. I like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Heroes on the Psp Because every character has alot of Combos( At Least 4) and Different Ultimates from the Storm Console Games
I'll get the game for sure but when I can get everything for 60 bucks in like 6 months. No way I'm spending more than that on this game. I get they changed some of the fighting mechanics but still it's only like what 10 new characters plus dlc down the line. Naa I'm good on paying full price for that
One last thing... That's good it has the biggest roster, but let's be honest. We know people are just gonna pick the same 20 characters and recycle them through teams.
This is common with competitive games, they tend to have a unmovable meta and people only play the best possible characters, altho sometimes people like a character so much that still play on competitive level with "awful character"
I just hope they improve the graphics for storm 5 with the current gen graphics... There have been been using the same PS3 graphics since the first storm game and only minor improvement on the story mode in storm 4 which were not even consistent. Since its easier for CC2 to just reuse their previous designs I guess asking for an actually next gen graphics would be too much to ask for
I’m sure this is the LONG TERM Storm game which is why they gave us all of naruto story from part 1 to the end and get a exclusive Boruto I think connections is perfect from connecting all of Naruto’s story All the way to boruto and keep extending the roster with lots of dlc this isn’t storm 5 there is no need for storm 5 because there isn’t a story to capitalize on and when it’s time make it dlc like dragon ball Kakarot

Idk where you got they are making s5 rn, i would love to see some proof. This game is meant for casual players and story players, comp wise its a disappointment. The roster is basically the same as s4 except like maybe 14 character. 10 new the other 4 are just skins or slight different moves of the same character. They def screwed up this game, the roster, the potential it could've had since the last storm game(s4) was made in 2016. We waited 7 years for this disappointment. The 2 original characters aren't even playable rn, no endless or spectator mode, cant invite people, and where do i stop? Yeah no, no one should pay over $60 but this game is $70 not $60. Everything you said has been in the games before. Cc2 doesn't understand the comp side, doesn't listen to us, or even try.
I think to the more casual audience Storm C might be a bit of a letdown. But as someone who really gets into the combat and strengths of individual characters, the changes made to Storm C will be huge. The game will play a lot faster and be more focused on combo extensions, but also finding the smartest way to extend combos now that damage scaling is a thing. You also now have to be a lot smarter when it comes to defense. Subs take longer to regenerate, but you have infinite counters. I'd say Storm C is gonna take more skill and game knowledge than Storm 4 did. It looks like it's gonna be a very interesting game for the hardcore fans. I already bought the ultimate edition, and I don't think it's something I'll regret. Storm 4 is the game I have the most hours on out of any game, and I didn't start playing until 2020. The second closest is Overwatch with 470+ hours and I've played that since 2016. So yeah, as someone who loves Storm, I'm really looking forward to this game

I am getting it purely because of online, by the time I got into Storm 4, online was pretty much dead (on PC atleast), it took multiple minutes to find a match and even then it was against people who had probably hundreds, potentially thousands hours played, so it was unplayable for me, I am hoping I can face people of similar skill level here, since the game will be "new".

yup your gonna like it. this game for old fans of the storm games and band new fans that never played a single storm game. i never played the orther 3 storm games. only storm 4 and i loved it. can.t wait for this game. i already pre ordered the switch version.
They say it the experiences of all the naruto games in one but clashing isn’t brought back. I don’t want to play a Naruto storm 1 feeling game without the key features that makes it storm 1 id rather stick to my storm legacy that I bought all these years back

I can tell you're not a big fan of the Naruto game series because Storm wasn't the first of the series, it was actually the ultimate ninja series for playstation 2 that started the series and then they didn't add Storm to the title until playstation 3.... There was also a ultimate ninja 5 game that was only released in Japan due to bad sales for some reason when it was a good title and featured the team ultimate jutsu that we didn't get added until Storm 4...

So I just was recently playing with my Naruto (Goku) on Storm 3 Xbox 360 and I loved it! But I bet Connections won’t bring that back like the Storm 3 Remaster didn’t.

All we wanted is a AOT 2 or Xenoverse like Naruto game.. No one wanted this- we already played trough all 20 games.. I know the story, I know the fighting mechanics.. I know everything about it. I want a Standalone kinda open world Natuto game, one where you can create your own character and be part of the story as a sort of filler character. Kinda like what they did with AOT 2 - Aside from that.. did they bring back jutsu clashes? Quick time events (outside the story) ? If not, fuck no I will not buy this
not entirely true, they removed regular shurikens and turned the chakra shuriken bind into second ninjutsu (tilt) so hypothetically pressing charge + shuriken will be tilt
I rather wait for a Bleach 3D fighting game for modern consoles than buy this DLC on a sale lmao. A new story and new exclusive jujustsus are the only noteworthy reasons this one might be even worth a consideration, especially if you've Storms 4.
Yes you’re one of those rare ones that knows the real cause Sage Naruto was so peak OP in Generations as well Five kage summit Sasuke and a few others ect. With their longer combos.

The collectors edition has sasuke as figure with rinnegan and sharingan and chidori and naruto only with his rasengan i would have expected a naruto with sage mode and rasenshuriken or something like that xD

Because of this updated storm 4 nobody will play storm 4. I absolutely do not want to purchase this dlc game for 60$ 90% of the game is the same, 5% new characters, 5% game play update equals a 20$ game. But nobody will play storm 4 once this is out
