hope chaos wins, all things xenos should be destroyed, a chaos marines are still old space marines, i know a lot of them are demons but there are still more people there than tau.
As someone who rolled about as well during my last Warhammer game as Nick did here, massive props to him for not getting salty at the dice! Nothing more frustrating in this hobby than when the stupid math rocks refuse to let you do anything
Tycho truly does embody the very pinnacle of respectful-yet-competitive, charismatic, tabletop gamer spirit. Always a blast to watch him lead an army across the field. Dude's got knowledge on the units and tactics of nearly every army, and I've never seen him grow sour over an ill twist of fate--or roll of the dice. Love this channel. 💯🔥
Tonite on POT gear: Nick commits large amounts of tax fraud to cover his crippling addiction to Tau mech suits. Tycho goes bald, develops daddy issues and becomes the new Lorgar and Tak and Steve fight each other over who becomes this weeks narrator.
A bit lopsided but fun nonetheless! Dice could have been kinder 😅 A minor detail: Daemon Princes no longer give themselves reroll 1s to hit since they are not themselves core (unless you get the reroll from some WL trait/relic)
As a newbie to this channel and a fellow Tau player, Nick has quickly become one of my favorite players. And seeing Tycho is always a treat. A perfect video for this week!
I don't even play the game but I enjoy watching Nick run his TAU mech suits fighting for the greater good. I could feel not deploying more units on the board in the beginning was definitely a misplay. That HellDrake Dragon was bound to do some serious damage, along a large mass of chaos troops incoming. Ready to finish off whatever survives.. His small squads were sure to get wiped out. Then the dice rolls started happening.. like ugh.. I hate getting sacked by just pure luck. Ridiculous. Still. Great game
FOR THE GREATER GOOD! DEATH TO CHAOS! Seriously, I cannot TELL you guys how hyped and happy I am to see the man who converted me to the Greater Good face off against the faction who I have come to despise(because they're the main antagonists, NO hate at all towards anyone who plays Chaos). I want to see those Crisis Suits blast those Possessed off the board! Looking forward to this game, as I am sure it's about to be full of fireworks and carnage(hopefully more for Chaos than Tau)!
JT MUST NARRATE! His voice is better than listening to the emperor himself ! Also I think it’s about time I sign up for Patreon. Your content is FIRE 🔥
No disrespect to any of the others because every one of Play On's videos are amazing, but Tycho and Nick are without a doubt my favourite players to watch. Both play super thematically, have great fun, know the rules well and play tactically, and aren't bothered whether they win or lose. Basically the anti-gatekeepers for enjoying Warhammer table-top gaming Awesome video as always, PLAY ON!
Mass battlesuits can be pretty good, although I don't know about "competitive," but you DO have to keep in mind that they're point for point more expensive than a custodian guard and value them as such. ...That being said, they say fortune favours the bold, even if that really wasn't the case here. I think sending that squad out on an objective would have been a solid time to deploy the Orbital Ion Beam, I think. Baiting out the enemies to zap them... Or acting as a deterrent to prevent them from being overwhelmed with a charge
Nice game! Always good to see chaos marines on the tabletop (I play iron warriors). Note I saw is when nick shoots into the heldrake in turn 1, Tycho uses infernal engine which is -1 damage but the card on the top right has a typo which said -1 to wound
What a great battle. Would love to see some demons in an upcoming battle. (Particularly a Khorne list; but any mono-god or the army of renown would be cool)
YEAH, FOR THE TRUE GODS. Chaos is great, cause we're all friends under Chaos. I love that you guys were using Ravaged Star minis they look so good, I can't wait to get mine.
I love me tau and I love all crisis suit forces. I really wish tau crisis suits could be equipped with like plasma blades in 9th edition. Still hoping for Space Marine Steve vs. Chaos Marine Steve in a mustache narrated by Steve. If we could work in Storm Trooper Steve, I will take it! Also are we getting more star wars tabletop?
Tycho and Nick are exemplary players. Bad luck and mistakes never hinder their sportsmanship. They're also just plain fun to watch! I imagine getting schooled by them even as a newbie player myself would be a blast. Nothing but good vibes from them every time we see them play and that's always endearing to witness
I love play on sponsorships, other channels have some sponsors that have nothing to do with their content and are just annoying, but with playon it just fits the content doesn’t disturb the video and I‘m actually happy when I see they have one because they are always good products
Uh oh. I think Guard Nick was in command of the T’au today. He sent those Crisis Suits to their deaths like a squad of disposable guardsmen. That’s rough.
Shaso wasn’t kikaso this match. (Sorry for butchering the grammar, I’m not fluent in Tau writting.) On note: holly shit Nick roles were terrible. For a moment I though it was Steve.
Have you ever thought about doing a 30k or 40k narrative battle report using the Dornian or Roboutian Heresy? It’s a bit different but I think it would be fun.
Hear me out… AQUILON CUSTODIANS are protecting a high value target who survived a battle with chaos but the grey knights want him dead since he came in contact with them. Two of the elites going at it, custodies vs grey knights, who would win? Edit:just finished watching this BR and it’s fricken entertainment
@@heykeiffers6684 the Inquisition isn't a unified body after all. We could even make a Narrative Campaign out of it. There is MWG chaos cult vs genestealer cult Narrative Campaign currently going on so you could have two cults feuding over some mcguffin to only have two rival Inquisition go after it after some good old purging action
Heldrake can charge non-aircraft as long as it's in hover mode. I don't know if it was or wasn't based on the direction and speed it moved (20" in hover is still a lot), but it may not have been illegal despite you guys pointing it out.
I love watching Chaos wins, I love watching Tau losing a game and I love watching Nick's suffering over dice rolls. 10/10.. would watch again just for extra tears.
Will the warriors of the greater good be able to over come the dark forces of chaos Or Will the dark followers of chaos crush the warriors of the greater good
