Thanks for the video, this is something I'm constantly trying to do better with. I also love that when I watch your videos, it feels like you're someone that I've talked with before. I don't know if it's certain phrases or mannerisms, but there's a familiarity and authenticity that really resonates with me.
Saw the thumbnail and thought half an hour is a long video. Watched it anyway. Worth it :) I knew most of it, thanks to previous videos by yourself and other amazing content creators, but had still missed one or two, mainly from the weekly shipments
Great video, very helpful for me as a “new” player. Would love a follow up video for those of us new people as to how to reconcile Prioritizing the characters/ships that are only purchasable from the stores (specifically the guild event and raid stores) and acquiring the required relic mats/gear for whatever farm you’re currently working on; where said mats are recommended to be bought from said stores.
I like using MK2 Raid Currency to buy G12 pieces that can be turned into full pieces to scrap for Electriums, since that means you can save MK3 Raid for Zinbiddles and above as required - Especially the wristbands as most older players will have tons of the purple mats required to craft a full piece to scrap
I would add the g12 pieces for conquest credits: they were a HUGE part of how I got my first relics when conquest first came out. I always advise newer players in our guild to do their best in conquest just to get those g12 pieces and get more units to relics.
I personally like to get right side pieces. When it comes to limited crystal income and playtime a lot go to just getting raid points which is left side gear. I only rarely refresh ship energy to finish off a piece that's close to done, otherwise it takes a bit without refreshes.
In conquest, you get much better value buying gear to scrap for your high end relic mats then you do buying them directly. Only problem is limited supply.
Every video of this type omits using mk1 raid tokens on the mod slicing mats for 5* mods. Get 10 for 100 tokens. When i do 12 sims of the first three mod slicing nodes, i usually get around 20ish pieces. So if you do it 4 times a day, you come out to about 75-100 crystals worth of mod slicing materials.
GET 2/3: IPD and KAM are needed for Rise Ops, so try to convince some of your guild to go for them. I'm advising everyone to do so once the other stuff is farmed that they need like ROLO, Ships, and Wat, because I am convinced that they will be required for future events. I could see an Empire GL and/or Thrawn (assuming he still is true Empire) will be a shoe-in for IPD, and the inevitable Ahsoka GL would be a prime spot for requiring KAM and even some of the other neglected Jedi Council toons. So better to get those farms done now so you can rest easy when they drop those reqs on us. End even if they never drop, your guild will thank you for helping with those critical Ops slots.
@xaereth, you may want to rethink the Galactic War Tokens 400 buys either 4 blueprints or 10 shards 1 BP = 38 Shard Store Currency > 38*4=152 1 shard = 15 Shard Store Currency > 15*10=150 Therefore, buying the characters is marginally better in Galactic War Store only.
I just ran it again. The same currency can buy you 154 for ships or 150 for character shards. So, ships are better to buy than character shards, as I said in the video. I'd encourage you to run them one at a time :-)
I'm mostly in the boat where I need to use currency mostly to buy gear to convert into relic mats.. What are the best gear deals to look for in the relic mat conversions? Mk3 Solo Projectors with Raid Mk1 have basically "solved" the Aurodium Heatsinks Mk7 BlasTech Weapon Mods using Guild Tokens have basically "solved" the Chromium Transistors Are there any other such deals to be on the lookout?
If spending cash on kyros, which of the deals that come into the shop is the best one? I tend to get that $5 with 25 salvage of each but curious which one(s) you amassed all the kyros with 😂
Nice vid, agree on a lot. some differences for me: squad arena, I never need credits, always at 100k. I only buy the mk1-3 gear items as those are the only ones need for relics, I still have piles of gear to convert for bronzium, maybe that'll change eventually but still stacks of gear at 3k to convert, when I get over 100k arena tokens I buy shard shop chars guild tokens: mk1-3 gear only, any gear I have less than 100 for g11 fleet: I still do the ships for Shard Shop, I don't seem to be in need of zeta but maybe I should switch so can put zeta on new squads like tusken... Hmmm shard shop: I usually buy whatever I'm low on :( so I'm always low on this currency agreed about ally points - 100k is just too much ally for a single cron, especially when you can farm off conquest nodes now couldn't agree more about the raid stuff. some weirdly overly priced stuff there to avoid.
Some really incredible editing here I have to tell ya..... I know that took a lot of time. And make no mistake you kinda are a big deal now bro.... Just saying
