I JUST learned that you can easily take off the oven door to be able to reach in and clean so much easier! Saw a reel about it, and sent my husband to quickly figure it out, haha!!! I will definetly be using this tip myself asap.
There is something so satisfying about deep cleaning the kitchen. Watching everything go from sticky/gunky to all soapy and then sparkly clean is just 🤩.
On your cooktop, each burner comes off so you can clean them in the sink, and makes the cooktop easier to scrub. I didn’t know either till a serviceman came. Also, your ice dispenser has to be deep cleaned periodically so you don’t get mold. Google your manual for your model. I didn’t know till somebody told me. When I did it, it was so gross I was embarrassed. Doesn’t look like the previous owners kept up with that, so you might check. The things you learn when you buy a new house previously owned. Also wanted to suggest Heartway Farms RU-vid. They’ve been using Azure Standard for ages and have reviews on almost everything and how they use. There’s tons of RU-vidrs that talk Azure Standard tho.
Tabitha! I love seeing these meal ideas and cleaning inspiration! Gorgeous new home!! Just a tip: if you want to make sure you have enough salt for your cabbage, weigh your shredded cabbage on a scale and multiply that number by .02 to determine the amount of salt in grams. Also make sure to bruise your cabbage really well so that you have enough brine to cover everything in your jar. Adding a small baggie of water or even a small stone on top of the cabbage leaves will help everything to stay submerged during fermentation. Happy Fermenting!!! :) Pax Christi
I love that Narnia view! I do use the self cleaning mode on my oven a few times a year (take out the oven racks.) I also run my oven racks through the dishwasher, you can just lay them onto of the things in the bottom or do a separate run and then if needed (because pizza directly on the rack) I just rub spot with a brillo/sos pad and rinse that. I also try to keep aluminum foil on the bottom of the oven to "help" keep it cleaner.
Enjoyed this video so much! You always motivate me to get things done around the house. The cabinets looked so beautiful after the Murphy's soap. The kitchen is definitely the heart of the home. Thanks Tabitha. God bless!
Love your new home and the changes you’ve made to the channel! I’ve been thinking about that bread machine for a while! Right now I grind my wheat with a komo mio and then knead the dough in my bosch mixer and bake in the oven. That would save me some steps. Definitely recommend going to extra step and grinding your own wheat. It takes it to the next level! Thank you for your positive inspiration!
Hi Tabitha, My mother in law,was Mennonite and they published a cookbook called, The Mennonite CommunityvCookbook. I don't know if it's available in Amazon or not, gut, it has so many recipes and canning tips and just good home advise. If you want, I will email you the sauerkraut recipe. Just let me know. Also, my mother in law was originally from Michigan. Blessings always. 💖🙏
YOU HAVE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL HOME, I WOULD DARE TO THINK I COULD EVER GET ONE BUT WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. YOUR GODLY CHARACTER AND HEART ARE TO BE ADMIRED AND IS EXAMPLED IN YOUR VIDEOS AND HOMEMAKING, TAKING CARE OF WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH. ENJOY YOUR FAMILY AND HOME!
This is my first time watching your videos. Your husband's way of introducing me to his beautiful and amazing wife. Thank you. I will be watching more.
I love your cleaning/cooking videos and need to watch them more often! They’re such a great encouragement when I’m trying to talk myself into doing chores that need done but I lack motivation to do! Keep up the wonderful inspiration!
Tabitha! Your kitchen looks amazing and I know you are going to love it. I’m sorry about your dishwasher. Definitely sounds like something that would happen to me. 🙈 Big Hugs and God bless! 💛 Robin
I need to do the self clean on my oven again soon. I try to only do it in the winter, since it gets hotter than broil. I should probably have done it around Christmas when we had below freezing temperatures.
I feel like your hair must be effortless- it’s GORGEOUS!! Love this whole video. I’ve got to clean and organize my kitchen- must do ASAP- major task to tackle this winter. Indoor projects before the hustle bustle of spring gardening🌻 Oh no the dishwasher!! Hey, comes with the territory🥴 There’s bound to be appliance casualties. Oh I just 🥰 you Lady!
Tabitha, te admiro, eres una gran inspiración, un hermoso instrumento del Señor. Tengo una pregunta, sigues haciendo homeschool con todos? A que hora haces tu planeación? 🙏🙌Gracias
You can make extra brine with water & salt - to pour on top, you want to make sure everything is under water! Also you can use a weight to keep it under !
Don't ever use the self cleaning mode on your oven. First it gives off horrendous smells and second it can literally fry your computer board in your oven. That is exactly what happened to me. Now that your oven is clean if you have a spare spray bottle just keep it filled under your kitchen sink. If you spill in the oven or something bubbles over or splashes as soon as you turn the oven off get the bottle and spray the affected areas and shut the door. By the time the oven has cooled down the water does its jobs to uncrust the carnage and then you just wipe it clean. Its fantastic, works great and there's literally no scrubbing involved!
I like to add flax and cinnamon to mine as well it's so yummy I also love the idea to have 4 mini waffle makers that is actually a genius idea only a mama could think of 🥰🥰
I feel like farmhouseonboone is where to go for sauerkraut, advice I have not attempted it myself as it is very hot where I live, but I really enjoyed your video!
For your daily loaf of bread - which bread flour are you using from Azure? The whole white wheat, whole red wheat. or the unbleached bread flour? I ask because I bought the whole red wheat bread flour and it never turns out!
How do you keep the waffles from getting soggy after they finish cooking? I have 4 kids and when I make a big batch the first waffles are soggy and soft by the time I finish the last one. Any tips?
What did you use to clean the outside of the refrigerator? I have stainless and I can't seem to get them clean without streaks or smudges. Oh and did you use Easy Off on the inside of your oven? Everything looks great!
