It would have been great but then their actual first kiss when luz saves Amity from her grounding at her house would have been so much more less impactful than it was
I wish there were artists who could do the cut scenes in color, even if they were just one still moment. It would be awesome. Still, the rescue of Raine would have been nice to see ever if it was too long but it showed how Eda knew it was his whistling.

I wish they kept the one where Hunter says “Flap could..” He wasn’t even given time to process anything that had just happened. No one was. I’m glad it’s not there though, because I was already sobbing and this would have been “the icing on the cake.”
where they cut it in the show with the slight cliffhanger creates a better sense of horrible unease, even though it's a beautiful moment, it doesn't feel right to put that at this point in the story, and it would've undermined that ending gut punch

omg the end was very beautiful and sentimental, the owl house will always be in our hearts, and the phrase that I loved the most was: "Fron the heart!!" and "BYEEEEEEEE!!" I'm sad that the owl house ended, but happy that it happened 😢❤❤ goodbye to the owl house "Byeeee!!!"
I decided to finish the owl house on the last day of Summer. I was crying at the end, but finding out that the last three episodes spelled out "Thanks For Watching" broke me again. Even though it might not come back soon, they went out with a bang. A toast! To future stories and adventures!
Unironically, I think removing the Reaching Out kiss might've been a good idea? It made the first kiss later on so much more magical. The scenery, music coming to like a crescendo into the climax, following it with a lighthearted melody, before returning to the more brooding tone towards the seasons finale. The colours perfectly blending in with the nightsky. Scene's still stuck in my head, they probably would've gone around it some other way if they went with the first kiss in 'Reaching Out', but I'm satisfied with it
Honestly, yea I'm really glad they didn't keep the Reaching Out kiss. That kiss felt so underwhelming. The kiss in the season 2 finale was, like you said, much more magical. I mean cmon man this is like the first gay kiss Disney has ever done (to my knowledge), so that scene deserves a very emotional, heartwarming setting, not just a quick peck out of nowhere. Besides, the Lumity edits wouldn't be nearly as wholesome if the Reaching Out kiss was the first kiss for them. In conclusion, I think it was a very smart move to remove that scene and replace it with something much more enchanting and memorable.

@naamaaprobably the one where after Luz goes up Amity's balcony, Hunter tries to follow her but Willow and Gus stop him ant tell him to give them space. Hunter's confused and they say "you'll understand when you're older," much to his frustration since he's the oldest there. That's why he looks disgruntled when Luz and Amity peek down at them after the kiss.
2:05 hit me so much harder than i wanted it to hunter's my favorite character, and honestly seeing him like that makes me so sad i'm glad he healed at the end of the show though, i miss toh so much

As much as I love the kiss in reaching out, at the same time I am a little glad they deleted it cuz it would’ve made the clouds on the horizon kiss less impactful, and that kiss was with like smooth animation and lots of build up
good point, having this kiss scene would've felt a bit like both Luz and the animators were chickening out, so im glad they didnt. We just have to know after the series they're in a happy relationship with lots of kisses and cuddles :D
they knew what they were doing, more and more my respect goes for everyone who worked on the show, with everything thats been thrown on it they still managed to make the best of it

i didn’t even know about some of these :( i love this show so much. one scene i really wish happened was the one dana talked about in the (i think) most recent livestream😢 in clouds on the horizons, when luz went up to see amity, hunter tried to follow suit. gus tried explaining that they needed alone time, and poor baby couldn’t figure out why😭 so when luz was on amity’s balcony before surprising her, you can hear them bickering💀 which is why hunter i gather looks kinda angy when they peer back over the side in the episode HAHA. i definitely miss this show. Should have kept Hunter smiling before trying to drown himself. It would have made it much more clear that he was planning on this and was ready to sacrifice himself.

I definitely see your point, and I honestly think it's up to preference. On one hand, a kiss in Reaching Out would've been good cuz it was, like you said, an episode where Luz and Amity were being open with each other and talking abt emotions and such. The kiss could've taken place in a setting where they were learning to trust each other more so they could have a healthy relationship. It would've been a heavy, emotional scene with those two, so a kiss could've really sealed the fact that Luz and Amity trust each other a lot more and want to better their relationship. It could've been a more meaningful kiss to some people. On the other hand, the kiss in Clouds on the Horizon could also feel more meaningful to people because of what was being said before the event. (I don't really know how to explain this so I'll try my best) Amity is shown to be worried for Luz and just wants to know if she's ok, she sees Luz, and Amity's pent up concern turns into relief and she wraps up those feelings with a kiss. It was a moment where Amity thought she wouldn't see Luz for Titan knows how long, but when she's reunited with her, both of them are in pure joy to see each other again and want to share a small, memorable moment to 'celebrate' their reuniting. I personally prefer the official kiss, as I think that setting made it more magical and heartwarming, but again, this is entirely up to preference imo. Whether you prefer that kiss or not, we should respect each other's preferences, even if we heavily disagree.
@@4rdency Yeah, I see your point, I'm not saying that the official kiss is bad or not as special as the one in Reaching Out, It's just that for me, a very sentimental person, that moment would've been very special if made in that specific occasion, i however see your point in which both of them are sick worried about each other and when finally reunited the happiness sprouts in this beautiful kiss. Those are all the deleted scene of the Owl House isn't there Eda and King side of the story where the Collector is onto them along with Lillith and the puppet Hooty and then the Collector drag Lillith and puppet Hooty away and lastly Eda and King saw the white light and they wake in their own nightmare or that clip never happened.
We could’ve had episodes of the time in between when the crew stayed in the human realm, we could’ve gotten little dates like luz promised on the library episode, we could’ve gotten huntlow dates, more THAN TWO SECONDS OF DARIUS AND ALADOR BEING ALL CUTE, We could’ve gotten more of Willow’s dads and more of raeda, and even more I can’t even think of right now. I miss it so much 😭😭😭🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Another thing we could've gotten if Dana had more time to work on the show was further lore for The Collector. I feel like they could've done an entire episode revolving around the sad backstory of them, really emphasizing that The Collector isn't a villain, but a lost, lonely child with trust issues. The Collector is one of my favorite characters, so seeing an episode completely based on him would've been amazing. But alas, Disney is a f**ked up corporation and cancelled the show cuz it "didn't fit the brand"
