ALL Diamant Supports Fire Emblem Engage 

SAME while im not a huge fan of the overall stylistic choice of engage's char design, ive always liked his. He is literally the coolest and he is even more cooler in cutscenes its insanee

The jp version has more romantic S supports for characters, but the english dub and captions were censored for some reason

This game is more about family than romance. The five pairs of siblings should be a hint.

Diamant and Jades conversations of her writing is literally some of the best shit in the game. When I can see that story Jade wrote through my own eyes and laugh just as loud as Diamant was. It makes me believe there was SOME competence when it came to Engages story. It's just...not the main parts...apparently...

@Señora de Mendoza Diamant's supports with Amber and Jade are my favorite supports in the game. I love how Diamant reacts to Jades book and his reaction to Amber calling him "light and fuffly" kills me every time. Like I said before. I really like that they made Diamant humorous. It really makes him stand out from all the previous lords in past fire emblem games.

@@ThisIslandDoesNotExist I freaking laughed when he sang with Timerra. His VA seriously nailed his voice & I get the feeling he might actually have a good singing voice too (if he was singing for real).

@Señora de Mendoza See, that was the only support I didn't like. Its probably because I didn't like the idea of Timerra making people sing when she can't sing herself, but that's just me. It came off as more cringy than anything.

He should have been, imo. He's the most charismatic of the lords and more charismatic than Alear himself

OMG THANK YOU!!! Diamant is the only character in this game (other than Ivy) that actually goes through an arc and character development. Ever since Fates, this has been the third time that I had to ask myself "why wasn't this character the protagonist" For fates, it was Xander, for Three House's, it was the leaders, and now here, it's Diamant. The words he has with his father in chapter 10 is the best shit in the game writing wise. He was robbed, ROBBED. He also deserved a better game. Sorry for the rambling but I have been obsessed over this topic since I beat the game yesterday. How is Alear such a plank and Diamant is everything I want in a protagonist. I hope he at least gets put in the next crossover if there ever is one. He just deserves it.

@CrushingDefeatTheGameTheMoveTheWorld Honestly I think Xander and Ryoma were too mature to be protagonists. Takumi and Leo would have been great though

@Tsuna X Fair. I just think Xander is an underrated character compared to Camillia who is only being put into newer games purely because of the fan service. In Conquest, Xander was just a fantasticly written character through his supports and during the story. Like Diamont, he had an arc whereas Corrin didn't have one. It would just be more interesting to see the world through Xanders eyes as a hero to his family and a villain to hoshido. I would have loved to see more of a dynamic with him and his father. Along with more of why he does what he does for Norh and the conflicts he may feel about it. Diamant was just the last straw for me. He deserves a better game. It just doesn't feel fair in a way. I would rather follow Diamant as the lead over Alear any day.

Camilla looks more like she belongs in a hentai, ecchi or harem story.

@@Xgendude14 I'd say at least one of Sylvain and Ingrid's many children would be a lot like Diamant. He's most directly based off Ryoma from Fates, though.

There aren't paired endings in engage except for Alear and whoever you choose to give the pact ring to. It's a bit of a departure from the rest of the series from fe7 onwards in that way
