It very well could. I would imagine easy levels have a lot of people's first attempts at building stages, and they might not be aware of possible softlocks when creating the stage.
@@sirmoonslosthismind If a normal person was playing they might not even think to go up there. Ryu is a master of looking for cheese, so he is constantly checking everything suspicious.
21:25 I like how in the Kaizo training level, he nails every trick first try, like it's absolutely nothing. I'd be sitting there, timing out trying to get the first POW jump.
I've actually downloaded that level before... Only part that gives me problems is that stupid p-switch jump at the end... I HATE mid-air p-switch jumps in SMM1.
@@ethanmcgowan4693 Can't say if it is different between the two since I don't have a WiiU, but yeah, I know on the 3DS version the timing is insane. It is almost as bad as the mid-air shell jumps.
And he even said he wanted to edit stuff out where appropriate to avoid this, but ended up keeping so much because it was good. Praise the level creators!
Ryu offers a scathing and shocking review of the Nintendo Switch at 15:20 "I don't even think you need the Switch. Yeah, I don't know about the Switch. It didn't seem necessary." Wow, Ryu. That's harsh.
I love these kinds of challenges. It gives the Easy, Normal, & even Expert levels a time to shine when 99% of the time all you see are Super Expert levels. :)
Still one of my favorite videos. Maybe think of a way to do this in MM2? Please more Ryujahr killing the low level... like give your self a limet of 100 lives. and regardless of how many you loss. you will keep the ones you gain. sadly theres no easy way to carry them over to the nightmare of Super but keep the number of levels caped like they did in MM1...
I've seen pretty much all of your videos (and lots of streams) and still... every new one... you never cease to amaze me for your abilities, and entertain me and make me laugh with your personality. Keep it up my friend!
Man, I had a horrible day until an hour ago. Like, it sucked from waking up, getting wet by rain when on my bike. I had no inspiration to do any work at the University. I had too many things to do at work. But, you know what? Having 50+ minutes of your adventures made this day actually almost good. No, this is not "thumbs up on this comment", this is actually how it was. I love you, Ryu. I love rYou.
@MPDeity To be honest I'm ambivalent about that. I get that people put months or even years of work into things like romhacks, remakes, demakes etc., and it must be devastating to get a C&D. To me it would be like if I recorded a cover and then got a C&D from the writer of the song. It's never happened but I can imagine how it would feel, especially if it's work that was done with love for the original. But I also understand Nintendo's intentions to protect their IP. After all, if they allow people to make their own Pokémon games etc., then there's less incentive for people to pay money for Nintendo's official products. It's a tricky situation for sure, and I don't think there is a solution. Perhaps the middle ground of making games which are heavily influenced by classics is the way forward. Blossom Tales is a great example, as it looks, feels and plays just like LOZ:ALTTP, but doesn't infringe any IP. I guess for some people the point is to stay within the franchise they love, and I get that, but it's quite a complicated situation I think.
The reason that song is a 10-second loop is because it was the Name Entering Screen on the Arcade Cabinet for Super Mario Bros 1. Which had a slightly different Enemy setup than the NES version, most notably at the beginning of 1-2 there was a Turtle under the multiple Coin Block, which took Precise timing to empty the Coin Block.
Videos like this are why I’m constantly getting up at 11;30 in the morning. Luckily, I’m 13 and on summer break, so it doesn’t relay matter. But still.
Great video. I didn’t think I would enjoy watching these kinds of videos but your editing is great and I’m able to watch it until the end. Keep up the good work :)
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂bro i beat that level without even jumping😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Harry Svensson I don't even exist, I'm just a concept manifesting in a metaphysical dimension and I beat this level 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I've never been a particularly big fan of the mario games, however Ryukahr's content is wonderful and it helps me relax and get to sleep. Keep up the wonderful work!
