I’m going to be honest this is underwhelming - I love Disney but this is another set of remakes of classic cartoons and stars wars is going into weird places. I’d love to see more challenging and original content
Okay, seems like Disney has learned from their live action mistakes, Lion King cgi facial expressions seem more animated and believable. I will give them that
Toy Story 4 was bad. It's a beautiful movie in terms of animation and enjoyable to watch, however, it was so unnecessary. Woody's decision to leave destroys the emotional impact of Toy Story 3.
There was a trailer. There was a description of it released, and they announce the first look during leaked videos that all cut off right as the trailer is about to start. I think Disney is trying to keep it from showing up online for some reason. But there definitely was one. @buster5661
The funniest part of this whole thing is the fact that they cast a brown girl to play a white girl who is so white that she's literally named after the color of her own skin. One of the few times that a racial characteristic is actually a really important plot detail and they fumbled it.
I know right!! The book literature says “She had skin as white as the fresly fallen snow, her lips were as red as blood and her hair was as black as ebony”
I wouldn't say it's important to the plant. It really objectively is not. It is important for her name to make sense, yes. But not for the plot. It's like saying Scar's scar in The Lion King is important to the plot. It's not. There's no point in the story where it's even brought up, just like Snow White's skin is not referenced in the original Disney movie.

the whistle while you work scene was leaked. rather than her and the forest animals clean the house like in the original she orders the dwarves to do all the work while she sings and dances around them.

@@Uncleoora2800I don't care about Rachel Zegler being cast, but that's just blatantly ignorant. She's called Snow White as in she's white like the snow. It's a reference to her skin, since having very pale skin was associated with purity back when the story was written.
@@plasticstraw5033 that's not "the whole plot". That's literally one line. Contextually, it means she's beautiful. The association between fairness of skin and beauty has been lost to time, so it's not a bad thing to modernize the story. The only problem is the name of the character.
When I saw 'Astro Boy(Mighty Atom)' series of Osamu Tezuka, those series truly look like and might fit the Walt Disney Animation. 'Astro Boy(Mighty Atom)' series is such a sort of fairy tale of space, science, and future. This topic(theme) is the coexistence between robots and humans and the coexistence of the past, present, and future. So we hope these new future animated films(ex> 'Iron Arm', etc.), based on 'Astro Boy' series of Osamu Tezuka, will be released someday perhaps since the 2030s or 2040s. Of course, these future new animated films have sequels.

Funny, one of the things that Star Wars pisses me off is that they have one settlement on a huge planet, and the settlement is like something out of a Western with anti gravity devices, robots and space travel. You half expect Clint Eastwood to ride in or speedster in, when it is raining cats and dogs.
This is what you get for the Disney+ price hike y'all are paying for peeps! This and to recoup their $185M budget they spent on that last TV series they made. 😂
Apparently Disney doesn't care to burn star wars to the ground. Really sucks the direction they're taking it. Never thought star wars would die before me but here we are. And what the hell is up with that snow white movie??? It was disneys FIRST movie, the FIRST princess. They're doing it zero justice. Zegler as snow white is a slap to the face to the legacy. And the dwarves...everyone made a big deal about representation on the big screen with disney. Black panther, little mermaid, turning red, the list goes on...but when they make a movie that can make children who are little people feel seen, they go with cgi instead. Not actual little people. Most jobs for little people in Hollywood are a mockery & really just downright degrading. I loved seeing all of the little black girls look so excited about Ariel in the live action movie because they saw themselves represented on screen. Why don't the children who are little people get the same moment?? This would have been a big deal for them as there's not much else they could do 7 dwarves on with such a broad range in talent & diversity among them...but yeah disney, ruin that.
I hope this is the last Star Wars show along with and or it’s just too many of them. And it’s not as good as Clone Wars. I’m excited for Agatha and Percy Jackson and Zootopia

This storytelling theme(topic) is about coexistence between 'humans and robots' and even coesistence between 'past, present, and future'. Why 2060s? Osamu Tezuka died in 1989, and the copyright will be protected for 70 years from that date. That means the copyright will remain in place until 2059, and Walt Disney Animation Studios will be able to plan a remake of the Tezuka work from 2060.
Geeze, a lot of groipers in these comments. Star Wars Skeleton Crew looks like a live action episode of Clone Wars and if the child actors and writing meet at least that expectation then it might be fine. Snow White is nothing but another Disney live action remake to keep their property from public domain. That said I haven't seen any of the live action Disney movies after Aladdin. Agatha was fun in WandaVision but she seems like another superfluous Marvel character getting her own show, like SheHulk. Mufasa: Lion King, an unnecessary prequel to the cg/live action remake. Moana 2, I loved the first movie and though I don't think it needed a sequel if Disney channel was still relevant it would have had a series. Enough Toy Story alright! I didn't watch the Percy Jackson series so I have no opinion. Win or Lose looks fun but I have no idea what's going on? Reminds me of The Wonderful World of Gumball though.
Well I have never watch Stranger Things, so it will be new to me. Remember: There is nothing new under the Sun. Star Wars is Kurosawa, Spaghetti Westerns, WW2 flying action and repurposed Nazi uniforms and SS helmets.
So far, only 2 1/2 of these grab my interest ("Skeleton Crew" & "Win or lose" + maybe "Moana 2"). All the others, for me, range from "Meh" to "Whyyyyyyy?" (from the ugliness of the CGI-oversaturated "Snow White" to the "Do we REALLY need a #5 when it ended so well with #3??") to the "Agatha will just be added to the list of things to get to eventually" to...
I will watch Skeleton Crew even if squeaky kiddie voices get annoying, well, until I am bored then I'll stop watching. The others don't interest me, not my bag. I have watched Percy Jackson et al, the representation of the Centaur is freaky.
Acceptence is surrender! If you keep telling these companies that this shit is ok they're never going to stop. You could've had a REAL Snow White but you are accepting mediocre garbage instead. You're ok with a really bad substitute. And that just ruins it for the rest of us.
