That makes sense because I randomly got it while booting up to play with a friend. They didn't get Sadako so I thought it was honestly a glitch and I thought it just gave it to me randomly, lol. I even went back and reloaded it several times trying to make it happen again. Do you know if there's a way to view it again?

There's a Trickster Easter Egg that wasnt mentioned! If you look at Tricksters teaser (the video where its just music that rewinds) and if you put the audio in a spectogram(aka make a picture of sound), you will find a hidden message there that says "Scream" which is kinda chilling considering to Tricksters lore. I actually tested it and saved the image

I've never heard of that and Trickster is one of my (lore wise) favorite characters. I just put it through a Spectrogram myself since I couldn't find it anywhere, and I can confirm it works. 17:10 Another good reference to Silent Hill is that there is a connection between the bathroom upstairs and the bathroom downstairs. It may sound silly, but in the game you can actually change floors while going in and out of the bathroom.

In Midwich there's an easter egg when you play pyramid head , in one of the lockers there's a little radio that will make a buzzing sound when pyramid head is near , like in the silent hill games

This is one of my favorite details in Dead by Daylight but not many people seem to know about it If I may explain it more, In one of the doorless lockers around the map a radio or a flashlight can appear on the top shelf(the locker can appear in the hallways or in one of the classrooms) (Also worth noting, both of these items are iconic to the Silent Hill series) The radio has a similar appearance to the radio in Silent Hill 3, and the flashlight is similar to the one used in Silent Hill 1 If you are playing as Pyramid Head and you get close to it, you'll hear the radio start playing static, this is because in Silent Hill the radio is used to alert the player of nearby monsters by playing static If you approach the Radio Locker as another killer the static will not play (I'm not certain if the radio and the flashlight can appear in the same match, but I had trouble finding both at once in my testing) I actually didn't know about the Radio only playing Static for Pyramid head before reading this comment, but that's such a cool detail

The Cursed Tape intro is by far my fave EE behavior put it. Off-putting but also kind of goofy seeing DbD characters re-enacting the content of Sadako's tape. Also the charm you get from it is the only charm I run, to me its one of the coolest ones in the game.

One reference that apparently no one noticed is that one of the DBD developers is probably a Dark Souls player! One of the messages said the phrase: "Don't give up, skeleton!" Which is a message that can be written to other players in the Dark Souls series, and it's a message that we players write to cheer up others, it's an encouragement to never give up, regardless of how hard things can be, so yeah, there you have it ;)

I don't know if it counts as a reference, but it's a really cool detail to me. When at the main menu, if Quentin is at the campfire, he can be seen dozing off slowly before suddenly forcing himself to sit up to stay awake so Freddy doesn't get him. It's such a small detail and I adore it.

I just love how much of Midwich is just a huge reference to the actual Midwich in Silent Hill 1 with all the easter eggs. Regarding RPD room music, I think it's absent in the entrance area because at some point in RE2, this is a room where Mr. X can actually walk through, where as in the other safe rooms he couldn't come in.

Yeah the “typewriter” Easter egg on rpd is a reference to the save room. That’s why the music plays, you save your game with the typewriters. It doesn’t play in the main room because it ISNT a save room in resident evil

Some other Silent Hill references I love are James idle poses, his main standing one where he looks up is a direct reference to the beginning of Silent Hill 2 as well as his campfire pose being the exact one he has towards the end of the game after watching the Mary videotape. But my personal favorite will always be the Silent Hill leitmotif Akira Yamaoka snuck in Pyramid Head's lobby theme at around 16 seconds in.

It seems we might have an update to the Plague's map for a possible Golden Toolbox, or an even deeper easter egg of some sort. Once the generators are all finished and the gated area underneath the temple opens, if you are playing as the Twins (so far we know only that Twins can do this) you can "sacrifice" Victor by having him jump on top of the altar in the center and reset for being in a place he shouldn't be... and then suddenly a torch will light up, and all the carpets in that underground area will also light up in a specific pattern.. For now, we lack any additional steps. But it is important to note that the carpets light up in a yellow similar to the color used by the Golden Toolboxes.

It could be actually, but we will have more information about it once there is a freecam mod with the Toba Landing map. I have been searching below the main building, and also in some of the holes in the border of the map in hopes to find it, but I had no luck! Imagine if you had to interact with each spider in the map in order to make it spawn somewhere, or hit one of the flying alien birds with a Huntress Hatchet so they drop the toolbox on the map 💀

Idk if this counts as an easter egg, but both Wraith/Nurse and David/Dwight have matching Valentine's outfits. Wraith even has the Nurse's heart instead of Azarov's skull on his weapon. And funnily enough, not too much after the Valentine's outfit, BHVR revealed David was gay. So these two pairs might be canon couples on the lore.

I recently noticed in Legion's mascot skins there are 2 colors of bow ties on the 4 outfits, green and yellow I believe. I would think the would give the matching colors to boys/girls like Joey/Frank and Susie/Julie. Or even how we think they're paired up, Joey/Susie and Frank/Julie... But the mascot pairs that matche their accessories like cute couples are Joey/Julie and Susie/Frank. Idk, just a little detail I noticed and my lore/conspiracy brain just went lol

I'm not sure if The Trickster blade count easter egg was intended. When Trickster was released he started with 60 blades which was then lowered after he got buffed. Still might of been intended but maybe not

so the midwhich generators can be repaired in any order, so long as both get repaired. they're just not guaranteed to spawn unless the map offering is brought.

I don't know if this a Behaviour Easter egg or just something carried over from Silent Hill, but all the clocks in the Midwich map are set to 4:43. Or in the 24 hour clock, 16:43. In 1643 England was at war with itself and one of the clashes that year was... the first Battle of Middlewich.

I'm not sure if you covered this before but, what is up with the easter egg on temple of purgation? If you puke in all the cups downstairs they light up on this down there and if you sacrifice victor on the table, it does a sound queue for something.

So for the Konami code easter egg, if you're on console, select either play killer or survivor first, then enter it as it's loading. Unfortunate, but it is what it is
