@Alfred we (Tesla Owners- Drivers and Friends Germany - TFF) have an event in June with Natural Yachts where we can drive all their electric Boats (they also have smaller and larger once as well as fast Day cruisers). Looking very forward to this.
Driving with the Electric System from Natural Yachts is great. I already did it last year and will do again this year. It has all the advantages you know from an EV-Car but not the disadvantage. Some examples: It is very quite and you don't have to smell the diesel exhausts. Also it reacts way quicker on changes of throttle. Even more when changing from revers to forward and back. Therefore very easy to maneuver in tight harbors. And since all harbors do have power you never have to worry about your range. Also in the Netherlands a lot of harbors charge you a flat fee for power. So "filling up" the boat is very cheap compared to a diesel boat. Therefore your TCO is even better.
Beautiful boat. Great tour. Too bad the boat was placed next to the wall. How is this boat so cheap? I thought trawlers were minimum $1M. 250K euros doesn’t sound correct.
WELL HOW MANY SU&NNY DAYS YOU NEED TO COMPLETE THE GREAT LOOP WITHOUT USING ANY DEESEL FOR PROPULSION..... making the coffee and tea and steaks yea run the GENNY to power up the CROKPOT AND lelektrik BLACKSTON GRIDDLE!! LOL
