All examples of the Kanako/Chujin leitmotif in Undertale Yellow

undertale yellow is canon and made by toby fox (on my dreams)

I personally prefer Undertale Yellow's soundtrack over the Undertale soundtrack. I find it way more emotional and strong, my favourite music is Nothing but the truth and I also really like a mother's love and Kanako (reprise). It's kinda the same reason why I prefer Yann Van Der Cruyssen and Lena Raine, I feel like their musics really enhansed the emotions in the games the musics were made for (Stray for Yann Van Der Cruyssen and Celeste for Lena Raine). The ending of Stray wouldn't have nearly made me cry without _Daybreak_

@@FBMtestingground i mean the undertale yellow soundtrack was made by a group of people, a team that already had experience, meanwhile undertale soundtrack was made by one person who had just a little experience; in my opinion that's what makes undertale soundtrack way better and more impressive

@@jissmol8738 Toby Fox definitely knew what he was doing. But I agree with the fact it's impressive he made it alone (though most UTY musics were composed by MasterSwordRemix alone I think)

@@jblitz1556 I just call it the Ketsukane motif…this is the exact same leitmotif as Ceroba’s and it appears in almost every song that relates to her family

I feel like this leitmotif makes more sense as the leitmotif of Ceroba's close family since it appears in both Chujin-related themes and Kanako-related themes

@@FBMtestingground i guess. But Ceroba doesn't have her own leitmotif and every Ceroba song had one of these 2, so you could also interpret those as the "Ketsukane" leitmotif that has 2 variants.

Thanks! And I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one to think that Undertale Yellow's soundtrack is more emotional than anything Toby Fox ever made. That's also why I prefer Lena Raine and Yann Van Der Cruyssen, Celeste wouldn't have been nearly as impactful without Lena's incredible music and I wouldn't have nearly cried at the end of Stray without _Daybreak_ by Yann Van Der Cruyssen. It's also kinda funny how my favourite Toby Fox music is one of those where he worked with Lena Raine

@@madelynscorner yeah that's fair, but no Toby Fox music ever hit me as hard as the examples I mentionned. But I have the weirdest tastes in music so my opinion doesn't mean much

They hit way harder because you're already familiar with Undertale's story and (most likely) have been for years, while Undertale Yellow is a more or less new experience.

Doesnt the wiki just call it the ketsukane motif?

I kinda confuse it with the Justice leitmotif, I only realized it when I started looking for the Justice leitmotif and saw it had a similar start
