I found her pretty intimidating when I saw her in this scene. Diplomatic power can be equally frightening as raw physical power. Moreover, she's always been a character that's not easy to read, so not knowing what exactly she wanted out of this meeting -- and what she'd be willing to do to get it -- also added to the intimidation factor. I think she has one of my favorite introductions so far
Arlechino is the worst Mary-sue in the whole game - she beat the EX N°04 Fatui at 14 years old - she makes the great traveler who fought gods, Dragons, and Abyss mega monsters look like a mare hilichurl in front of her - she humiliates Child - she plays a double game in Project Stuza against Pierro - she even threatened the Almighty Hydro Dargon sovereign himself with his full power if he stepped in her way at At this rate she could beat the Primordial himself, I almost vomited while doing that quest 🤮
Its the first time I see the Scaramouche one. Im kinda angry they made him an limited time event thing when the fatui introductions are very important for the main plot. We should have been able to meet him like that.
tbf, more than 80% of the player base never saw Scaramouche’s original introduction because he was revealed in version 1.1, eventually almost no one else in the community will have experienced it.
@@dr_titania Yup, I'm a day 1 player so I got to see it. When you meet him in Inazuma, Traveler acts immediately more hostile and Scaramouche notes that you remember who he is due to their previous experience from 1.1. If you didn't see the event, Traveler's not as wary and Scaramouche will properly introduce himself.
I like how the plot immediately chucks out Top 4 Harbingers after Inazuma. Oh you’re expecting to fight Monopoly Man or the richest man in Teyvat? Nah you get the evil mad scientist who can contend with Gods
To be fair, there's no sense of danger in meeting someone like Pantalone when the stronger Signora got mopped by tri-element Traveler. I do sincerely wish we will get a scene where the traveler gets absolutely destroyed by Capitano using just a crayon though. His bum ass needs a wake up call, glazing himself as having a "resume" of fighting gods when bro shit his pants against Arlecchino🤣🤣.

By the way , Fun fact : According to the description of Nightsoul , Which is shown to happen when a CHARACTER LIGHTS UP with their respective element and can only happen with Natlan Characters. This is also shown with Capitano leading me to believe Capitano is actually from Natlan
exactly what ive been thinking about since I saw the fight cuz the way capitano had that aura was very similar to nightsoul and nightsoul also is kind of related to a form of transportation i.e. surfing for mualani, spiderman for kinich drilling for kachina and similarly maybe flying for capitano?cuz he started flying only after that glow appeared
My theory is that Capitano is Mavuika's father. This would make for a very interesting line. He doesn't want his daughter to be burdened with this task which she's been working on over the past 500 years. Hence why he's trying to convince her to hand him the gnosis as he alongside Pierro, Dottore, Columbia and the Tsaritsa are trying to fix all the nations with an absolute plan which requires all the Gnoses. Same as Kachina being the reincarnation of Mavuika's sister. Or at least she's quite a reflection of Mavuika's sister which can be observed in how they carry themselves and having similar voices. We haven't heard Mavuika's father have a talking scene yet, so it could be that he and Capitano are one and the same. It could be that Capitano vanishes or sacrifices himself to save Natlan by the end of 5.2 in order to save Mavuika where his identity is revealed. The likelihood of him becoming playable seems very low currently, but I hope he becomes playable because his abilities on it's own look wicked already.
@@joostvanderberg7858 Honestly if capitano doesn't become playable, you'll have a large riot from hoyo fanatics and capitano fanatics. Me personally I don't mind him not being playable, but I don't wanna see another huge drama popping up in the internet again.
Scaramouche has the best introduction. Because back then we don't know the list off all the Harbingers. Traveler casualy met him on the street in Liyue during the quest. and then Mona can see how dangerous Scaramouche is.
When we knee about Wanderer's former Harbinger status back in that one event, the entire lineup was a mystery and we were speculating who was part of The Tsaritsa's own KGB.
@@theilluminatibenefactor i think we knew the name scaramouche from the fatui in the cathedral i remember there was a lot of speculation about who will be among the harbingers and we finally found out with the teaser i remember people were disagreeing with me that arlechino would be one of them
It's so cool to see the improvement of quality, in graphics, camera and all that, Genshin was really pretty back then but now it just gets more and more gorgeous
True even the trailer back then is just so basic and now is so improve, Genshin grow and improvement is really showing how Hoyo coming from smoll company and now really become big company with more quality games coming
I do wish his mouth was wider and with the shark teeth like in manga, even if it means reworking the usual model a bit. Considering we dont see his eyes, exaggerating his mouth would make him super intimidating
From all of the Harbingers' introductions... Dottore is still my favorite, since he is the one that really followed Megamind's advise and that is PRESENTATION!!! 😆👌
I’m shocked at how tame the reveal of Arlecchino is now looking back at it. I know she doesn’t have as much as a major role as the other fatui do in their respective archon quests, but not even giving her a cutscene was pretty weird. Capitano’s reveal was also pretty calm, but his monologue, music, and the amazing fight after more than make up for it. I’d say I rank the reveals as follows: #1: Dottore (Capitano is easily my favorite harbinger, but Dottore’s reveal has yet to be topped) #2: Capitano (the title drop could have been more bombastic, but everything else is perfect) #3: Tartaglia (great cutscene and transformation, with an amazing theme playing in the background) #4: Signora (very threatening and evil aura, but not as intense as her comrades) #5: Scaramouche (the reveal that he was the 6th at the time was cool, but the fact it’s tied behind an event, and isn’t super intense brings it down a bit) #6: Arlecchino (just pops up, no animation, just in-game during a diplomatic discussion. Though that’s what she does in the archon quest, it’s a shame my second favorite harbinger got such an underwhelming status reveal.)
@@MarchingDreams Yep. Shouki No Kami, Rosalyne-Kruzchka Lohefalter, Peruere all secondary (or I guess primary in some cases) titles. If I were counting her second one, Then yeah they did her a ton of justice there its awesome. But her original is just.. there.
True, but I think it's fitting though. Arlecchino is a diplomat while other Harbingers are troublemakers. Cutscenes are usually used when there is a conflict, so that's that.
genuinely venti is in my opinion the most lore-important character in the game. I think he knows a lot more than we do, and he's gonna be real important. He probably has only ever used 5 percent of his true strength
capitanos intro was absolutely incredible 🗣 nobody can change my mind about that. he (dottore did aswell) legit gave me chills.. I legit felt like i was watching a whole movie! 🔥
What IF Capitano is actually from Natlan and He is from masters of the night wind (cryo tribe) thats why ororon is helping capitano. That means ororon also has cryo vision not anemo.
All of the tribes use the same element example Kachina and Xilonen use geo.. Natlan is special unlike other region : ayaka and ayato are sibling but different element..
@@diaochan7506 I have a theory What If Capitano is mavuikas father and fought alongside natlan 500 years ago when The destruction of kaenrieah brought abbys to natlan. And got seriously injured. Abbys wiped out capitanos memories. And then he somehow met with tsaritsa and Tsaritsa gave him temporarly solution agaisnt abbys corruption in his body. But It still remains in his body thats why he struggled against pyro archon and not on full power. And in the end of the plot he gets his memories back and becomes good and ally with traveller.
I missed Unreconciled Stars Event so my first encounter with Scaramouche was in Inazuma's Delusion Factory Storyline. It's so refreshing to see his original introduction here. La Signora (as the Crimson Witch of Embers) 8. Scaramouche (as Balladeer in Delusion Factory) 9. Scaramouche (as Balladeer in Unreconciled Stars) 10. Arlecchino (as the Knave) My Top 3 favorite harbingers are Pierro, Capitano and Arlecchino :)
It's been 2 years and I still can't get over Dottore's introduction scene. His voice acting, his character theme song and his terrifying aura and the fact he just casually walks around then looks down on God of wisdom herself 😭😭
I’m trying to avoid spoilers but figured seeing the new Harbinger intro wouldn’t hurt…now more excited to go through the quest and see how we got there 😅

Too bad new players can never see the Scaramouche one. It’s sad that it was just an event or a limited time quest. Now people see him in Sumeru for the first time, during the archon quest.
@@heavennamino I don’t think we do. The whole Yae Miko, Scaramouche, Signora line is taken out. Even if we see him, it’s in an animation cutscene, but maybe even that happens in Sumeru
@@mikloszsolt9334You need to play Inazuma’s AQ first before doing Sumeru’s, so all new players meet him in the delusion factory without any cutscenes (like Arlecchino).
11:24 those huge cryo projectiles not only got sliced easily by Mavuika, but also they somehow managed to stay mid-air (meanwhile The Captain’s sword was made out of cryo energy, meaning he might have concentrated on his sword to constantly release cryo energy/create stronger cryo material and fight the pyro archon at the same time)
i would love to believe he potentially has a geo delusion, because it would be really cool and tie together nicely but it could just be very strong cryo powers

I just realized that Capitano is from Natlan, he activates Natlan’s Nightsoul’s Blessing at minute 12:07 and you can see that Aura, so he could easily be from the Cryo tribe and have received an ancient name. And since he knows Maivuika’s plan, he could be an ancient Hero or Entity from 500 years ago. That would also explain why Ororon tells him that he has little time. Capitano is a light sword, so there’s a chance he’s from Kaenriah.
Arlecchino is the best, even with Natlan released. Furina can be feel safe with Neuvillete near (remember, the Soreveign Dragon), and you can see that she is ABSOLUTELY AND TRULY TERRIFIED for the aura of the Knave, that is just sitting with ☕ . Arle gets the gnosis only with diplomacy, and that silent and calm aura is what makes her so terrifying. The others need to fight, or hide, like Dottore using a group of people. Even Capitano suffers a defeat and escapes. All her goals was completed without move a finger. The true strongs no need to demostrate it. She eliminates the old Knave as adolescent. Is the only harbinger that has defeated the Traveller (and she was'nt going serious). Holding a scythe is not casual, is the death itself. At this point, Arlecchino is one of the most imponent harbingers of all the 11.
Well, how can I say, the attack on Furina was very stupid, because Furina could have guessed who attacked her and made claims against Snezhnaya. Her children also almost ended up in prison.They were lucky that Risley turned out to be kind, otherwise all three kids should now be rotting in prison for espionage.
@@arsee4108 claims against Snezhnaya? Like Snezhnaya has some to fear when it haves 5 gnosis before the deal with Neuvi... And as we see in the story, the security of Meropide Fortress is nothing to pressume. It was´t a big deal for the triplets.
The Capitano one is the best, its the most high quality and accompanied by what is (in my opinion) the best fight scene yet. Gotta give a shoutout to Arlechinno though, appearing casually with pastries
I just realized, Capitano actually wanted to keep fighting after getting hurt, so did he have a plan against Mavuika, or did he put all his eggs into actually winning the fight?

I think it's an old event in 1.1 where The balladeer appeared for the first time, people who haven't met him in 1.1 will directly meet him in Inazuma, and if you did encounter him during 1.1, the second encounter will have different voicelines
I'm just glad they stopped awkwardly cramming in the dialogue lol. only Dottore and Capitano's intros actually let the VAs finish speaking. I'm assuming the older ones were using the Chinese dialogue timing, since Chinese is a more concise language
now after watching again for who knows how many times 1st encounter with Venti and Signora I have so many questions... 1) Who is the master of hers that Venti speaks of? 2) She clearly stated ''how impotent you became'', meaning she knows he doesn't have full powers. 3) He knows her, and her fate, and she as well can't surpass her hate over Mondsdatd's archon for not protecting her lover. BUT, she was afraid of him using his power, so when she saw his anemo swirls she immediately caught the gnosis, while Venti was clearly acting the act so she could have opportunity to get his gnosis .. o.o gosh that was so... first time when doing Archon when we just start Genshin there are so many details that we don't pay attention to...
