AllForAnimalsTV host & 1010 WINS Midday Anchor Susan Richard emceed the 29th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade at the East River Park Amphitheater on Manhattan's Lower East Side on Saturday, October 20, 2019.
Hundreds of people and their pooches took part in this annual dog costume parade in which they competed for more than a thousand dollars in prizes provided by Petco. Heart of Chelsea Veterinary Group was the presenting sponsor along with Amazon and Klarma. The event raised more than $10,000 for the Tompkins Square Dog Run which is the city's oldest dog run, dating back to 1900. The parade is also supported by NYC Councilwoman Carlina Rivera and GOLES, Good Old Lower East Side, a neighborhood housing preservation organization.
