We setup a time lapse video of all the Homag CNC machines running along with the edge banders. We explain what's happening with the jobs and machines as they are running.
Could you point to the machines as they are operating? You say that someone is working on a certain machine, and it takes a bit to figure out for someone who's never worked in a woodworking facility:)
Great video's! At this time i'm looking in investing in a nesting line with automatic loading and unloading. However we are wondering how many sheets we can process on average in an houre. What is your experience in this?
In order to do dust collection right on an external collector it would cost approximately $600k. We are in to ours less than $75k plus we like the flexibility of moving them around if needed. In the next few months we will actually be moving them to a shed outside and adding a briquette machine below them. Should be fun.
Can you explain why are you using only homag or why specificaly homag why not use SCM or FORMAT4 or IMA or BIESE or HOLZHER? Why did you chose HOMAG machinery ower other mayor brands? What was their advantage ower others?
I believe there are a lot of good machines out there. In our area the service with Homag is the best. The other thing I like is Stiles and Homag have a huge parts department and if you need parts, you can get them next day. It doesn’t matter what machine you have, it will have issues whether it’s the machine’s fault or employee error. Having the peace of mind to get parts and service when we need them is why I went with Homag. They have been an incredible partner.
