I think Starfeild should change the rarity’s as tiers keep the color of its rarity but change them to tiers rarity’s are old news tiers are better because we get to keep a favorite if dropped as tier 5 or 4
The Mantis Ship ID comes with a "scare pirates/spaces" hidden trait. You can erase the entire ship and build a new one. You can rename the ship. It's the "shell" you build the ship in that get the buff.
I read somewhere that it keeps its ID aslong as you don’t change the cockpit, also that there’s a note you find on the ship that states that the ship needs upgrades, is this correct?
Having ships land next to me when i’m on a planet, those are free ships. Got a UC Vista. Class C. Left it there for hours and came back with a class C license.
For the kids stuff trait, in order to get the ship it depends on how much money that you have sent them over the course of time. I did a lot of waiting on my Outpost then I was able to get the ship
The Dagger / Vultures Nest has an insane amount of credits built into the area. Make sure you find the 5 door Keys and have like 30 digipicks with you. I left the area with about 15-20 contraband items and a TON of credits/locked loot (crates and guns) around the site. I made over a 150K from the area. I also didn’t loot most of the gear/exotic items. If I did… I’d have probably added another 75K. I have commerce 3 by the way.
@@no-nonseplayer6612 it’s the most absurd mechanic in the game. I completely understand the management of your economy within the world, but asking a player to just simply waste time, sitting on a chair or sleeping for 24 hours twice (I say this because you can’t sit anywhere for 48 hours) Hass to be the most annoying, time-consuming, absolutely pointless feature in the game. Not to mention that you’d need to repeatedly “sleep/sit” when trying to sell a large haul because the vendors have 1/10 of funds needed to buy your goods. It just makes no sense. Outside of wasting a players time .. Maybe they just want a bunch of people posting that they’ve played 100, million hours in the game. Little do they know 99 million hours of that was spent sitting on chairs were sleeping. 😭
The best starter ships are the Vagabond, the Marathon (Titan/Cydonia), the War Wolf and the War Star (Stroud Eklund space station/Neon Ship Technician - this one is bugged on consoles - he won't appear because he's in the Ocean, thus you can't buy the ship). These ships grant you access to high end parts, even without spending any skill points in the ship design skill. 6:44 - not true! The weapons are pretty bad! I have FAR better wepons on my War Wolf! 🙂
I dont think the Kepler R requirements are as strict as you say, I gave all but 2 of the executives negative feedback and I did the group meditation and the Kepler R was my reward I've heavily modified it anyway - switched and consolidated the sstorage so its more streamlined, added another engine, added a couple extra habs and massively upgraded the weapons, and then I just switched to a Cabot cockpit tonight
You can register ships for cheaper than you can at the technicians by going to the bottom left tab in your inventory which should be for your ships and you can do it there
Idk about other ppl but there seems to be a bug where when you dock at the den with a stolen ship, the ship will have its bay connected to new atlantis and new atlantis will be missing a lot of meshes and your ship will be missing all its exterior parts and textures

I sadly had to sell the "Dagger" because it produced massive clipping problems when landing on Akila. Which means it "morphed" together with the other ship i was landing there. As if the dagger was standing already there on the landigfield. Happened everytime after getting a new ship from vendor, theft or whatsoever...
Had all of the ships and kept the Star Eagle and the Kepler-R. The Kepler -R is basically the ugliest most inefficient POS in the game. Now, mine has 4x Super Nova engines, the best Reactor, the best Grave Drive, 5600+ cargo, 63 mobility and the best shields, missiles and the auto-turret solutions. Mine looks like a whole new ship :)
so at least with the first ship he's talking about there's not always illegal contraband so make sure you actually have illegal Contraband before you go to the wolf system
I cant even finish the ranger quest line because Mei npc at the red mile is supposed to give the speech but the talk option is not available. Ive tried everything, wait 24 hours, 48 hours, tell my space buddy to get away, even deleting going back and still the same thing.
1:20 my man did not mention how much contraband is in this place if you full loot it, if you plan on doing that make sure ur lock picking is high and you bring a lot of digipicks, save yourself some time and start with the kitchen safe

I bought a pterasaur and i mean it dont got 8500 cargo but its gots better maneuverability my shield breaker doesnt even look like its original version either lol
There are some crazy builds on RU-vid. It really depends on what you want in a ship. I recently saw a video for a fighter a guy made for just space battle galore... but the Star Eagle is a great workhorse and it does all things well. Just upgrade your weopens

Registration costs, but you can then sell the ship for 2-3 times more than registration fee. So the ship is free if you just want to use it, but if you want to sell it, you need to put up some cash first, to take it back a moment later.
Simulator BAH!! Take Wanted. BHs come in ships. Find and do the LIST help the farm quest. Add on the starting solar system? Goes pretty quick. Wanted is good for some laughs too.

I just found a ship called endeavor just sitting on a planet I was surprised when I could board it and even more surprised when I could sit in the pilot seat and it said this is now your home ship.i think I was on the planet andreja was on and saw it sitting way off went to it and it's mine
