Dude, you are awesome! I tried multiple attempts at a lot of the steps you said to do, but what I ended up doing is: holding down the power button and the down volume. I would wait for it to restart - then pull the battery out. Put it back in;restart, pull the battery out - rinse and repeat. After three times it finally came on. Thanks again man

I dropped my Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown a week after i got it for my birthday (no case). No blue light, but it would still vibrate and i could adjust the volume. Im not sure which of your tips worked, cuz i was trying everything, repeatedly as suggested. I was sure this was a hardware issue and unfixable for me. The first thing i did was charge it. I tried to factory reset it several times but still had the black screen of death. One thing i did was remove my sim card. Then i did the pressing down all over the phone. After that I tried holding down the volume and power keys, releasing them, and then holding down the home button several times. Almost dropped the phone again when it came back on!. So not sure which trick worked. I would suggest to others to keep trying over and over. Thanks a million!!!

I bought samsung lcd bcause the old lcd got ripped on the connector cable. I try to put it, and it goes blank while the power is on, with sound and vibration running. It just reboot the phone, when the phone goes to the sleep mode, it sleeps like a dead. Every time rebooting is not possible in my case, Any permanent solution Sir

Im having a similar issue but its a bit different. ive tried all the steps you listed but for me if someone calls me, itll work fine etc. just doesn't go to my home screen. Just black screen. but the boot up logo and animation all works as they should, I hear all notifications I get but cant access them. unfortunately, I have too many notes and pictures on my phone so factory reset is definantly the last thing I want to do..
