All Glimmer Belcourt Scenes 

Because the hunger games is a beauty contest. Glimmer ended up getting the most Sponsors and believed she would win. However, because of how she was raised and how much people put into her she thought she would be safe and would never die. Honestly she would have been better off on her own then with the career pack. 😂

I believe she’s just pretending to be a charming and sweet girl to get more sponsors. She knows that she’s beautiful and uses it to the fullest. And if she was that bad with weapons, she wouldn’t have scored 9 at the individuals. And we see her as a really blood-thirsty person in the arena.

I think her skill is her carisma and charm and that she is good at being deceitful which could be quite interesting as that’s a lot like Finnick . Wish we got to see more of her and got to see that play out on screen and how she could use deceit to trick other tributes.

I don't. She was a horrible person

you do have to remember that she was just a child who was brainwashed into thinking she likes the hunger games. but at the end of the day, she’s just a kid who wants to go home, and her death was horrible, definitely one of the worst 😕

@@skydance3388 i agree that all the careers(except Finnick and Mags) were bloodthirsty and sadistic, but they weren't the real villains. The Capitol and Snow are the real villains. At the end of the day, they were all just kids who wanted to survive and go home just like Katniss and Peeta.

@@skydance3388 glimmer was the least worst out of them all all she ever wanted was to go home to her siblings, all the carriers were brainwashed into living the games, and for being blood thirsty (except finnick and mags)

I think the reason for this was that the careers are a lot heavier than Katniss was meant to be as they had food whilst Katniss had very little growing up. The branches were also weak so couldn't hold the careers weight so they fell back down

@@lennonbrackenbury458 In the book yes indeed, Katniss specifically mentions her prowess at climbing trees and why it is she and not Gale who goes into them when they are out on their expeditions. In the movie I think Jennifer Lawrence was somewhat too tall and robust to be convincing with that idea. Isabelle Fuhrman, who played Clove, was a better fit to the book's description of Katniss, although no one can deny that Jennifer Lawrence nailed the acting role.

Exactly, Glimmer died through of a really dumb way... She couldn't kill Marvel, Cato, Clove, inclusive Katniss, Tresh and maybe Peeta were better than her.

She thought that with her look(like cashmere and finnick) she could have allot of sponsor for winning

Compared to other careers she wasn’t a fully fledged trained career tribute but compared to normal tributes or average human beings in general she was at the level of a basic knife murderer, which is why she felt it was ok to rely mostly on looks to her advantage with Clove Marvel and Cato to do most of the physical labor
