When Johanna said to Peeta "how is it feel that everyone wants to sleep with you?", She really mean it, the tribute winners are sometimes forced to prostitute because they become desirable and all the rich people wants to be with them, the same thing happened to Finnick, in Johanna's case she refused to do it, and Snow killed all her family to punished her.

Elevator scene fun facts: Their reactions are genuine. In the script she was supposed to wear pasties, but decided to go full bare for the shoot. Also the hotel wasn't properly cordoned off and several guests and staff got the full view when she walked out. 😆

Johanna is great bc even though she is a savage. She shows Katniss kindness several times, her actions speak for her. Tipping her off about the hovercraft, saving her from falling in the water, helping her up, getting wiress and beetee, telling her prim would never be hurt by the capitol,

I love Katniss' and Johanna's friendship. They are strong women and Johanna is hard on the surface, but deep down you can tell they both have each other's backs.

Johanna is such an interesting figure in the books. Katniss repeatedly refers to her in her narrations because of her clever survival tactics, and her success makes shock waves across Panem due to how she posed as a defenseless, weak girl to trick everyone. She really is one of the most clever tributes ever.

Joanna was such an intriguing character, one of my favorites ever since I read the books. 8:18 minute of screentime for 3 movies is ridiculously low for a character like her. And she was greatly casted, what a waste of potential not to dive deeper into her traumatic past and further humanize her. I would have loved to see more emphasis on her, Finnick and Haymitch, their stories are so tragic and interesting and perfectly show how brutal Capitol is to their “victors”.

She is such an underrated actress. I’ve watched her career blossom since the 90’s movie, Stepmom. and I feel she should have became an A list actress as her skills are up to par with the rest of them. She’s so captivating on screen, she deserves more recognition.

They did her so dirty she deserved so much more screen time like there was two parts of mocking Jay and they didn't go into anything really about her trauma like they did in the book I really do wish they had included the story about how she has ptsd with the water because it almost shows when she votes yes for the final hunger games it's kinda shows why. When she refused to basically get raped and sell her body of because she was popular snow killed her whole family and punishment she was put thru 2 hunger games and then she was tortued for months in the capital and became an addict like I think she had it one of the worst and she never got a happy ending she lived the rest of her life alone afraid servierly traumatised and with everyone she loved dead

Johanna is so under-rated, she is an amazing character who suffered so much. Still one of the best characters in the movie

she is an ICON, she should've gotten more screentime

I think they should have put Johanna and Katniss training and living together in the movie to get ready to go fight in the Capital and Johanna failing one part of the test that involved water.

I wish we'd be told what happened to her after the war ended. I love Suzanne Collins' books, but she really messed up by not telling us what happened to several characters. I mean, my idea is that she returned to live in the forests of her district, teaching the new generations how to fight and trying to seek peace in her solitude. But it would be nice to have a canonical definiteive ending for her.

She truly is an underrated actress. She actually chased down an animal abuser, and helped catch them - then a mob started beating the crap out of the monster. Seriously though, Jenna is fantastic. Check out Neon Demon (part of Refn’s Neon trilogy). She’s quite good in it.

I love when Katniss says she's going to kill Snow and you see an actual moment of revelation in Johanna's face. Before that, they were just two girls that were being used and manipulated and everything was just a lie. In that smile she's like, "oh wow, this girl is really The Mockingjay. Who would have believed it."
