All I Am | A Firefly AMV - DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH! 

I've had this Firefly fan song stuck in my head for WEEKS now. But, while playing the game, I really connected to Firefly as a character. It is extremely rare to see physically disabled people in media. Especially with the kind of disability Firefly is shown to have in the game. (Her condition is similar to IRL muscle atrophy conditions, although the one that she has said to have is a fictional one.) Her disability is a plot point in her story, but it isn't the only thing about her. She is a strong fighter, who has gone through hell and back; Witnessing the death of both her race and her planet, being the last of her kind... And yet, she still finds reason to smile.
She's not a burden to those she hangs around. She's an asset and a valued friend. Also, she pilots a freaking mech suit. HOW BADASS CAN ONE CHARACTER BE? In any case, consider this an early post for Disability Pride Month. (Which is in July.) We love you, Firefly. 💫
