Spelunking + Doppelgang + deserts is a fun take on the archetype and MTG Goldfish did a Standard video when the deserts first came out. The new 1 drop is certainly not necessary in that deck but would be equally insane with Doppelgang.
I love completely unique decks on this channel, because they always try to kill the opponent in the most bizarre way, yet the deck is still crazy efficient.
@@Muhahahahaz Taking into account the Hellrider, he would've also had to chump with the Vinelashers to survive, leaving him in a bad spot regardless, so I think he would have lost anyway. But he should still have played it (since he didn't even know about the Hellrider at that point)
Of course he forgets the trample effect of Cultivator Colossus. Regardless of if you have a land in hand, it’s a decent blocker and will mow down the other team the next turn. Still a joy to watch.
Crucible of Worlds plus the triple sac-fetch land cycle(s), and whatever the one is that returns all lands from graveyard to battlefield. Used along with the sac-fetch land cycle. Fun trick I pioneered once upon a time in a land-based mill deck with Ruin Crabs, Iceberg Cancrix, etc. all sac-fetch lands come back to the battle field, then sac and pull another land in the the battlefield, thinning the deck and milling [or dealing a damage, or both, depending].
Feel like Wrenn & Seven would be a good addition, allowing you to pull lands, and potentially put extra lands into play each turn. Maybe a Tatyova to draw off of land ETB? Some Oracle of Mul Daya to play extra land each turn and view / play the top card if it's a land? Azusa for a couple extra land drops per turn. Dryad of Ilysian Grove for mana fixing and yet more extra land drops?

Didn't have to go that far. 8:00 would do - the Scorched Desert land there enters untapped. Seven mana, enough green, so it was Cultivator Colossus time, with 2 lands in hand to spare.
should drop some lands for llanowar elves and some tutors or other dorks and 1 cultivator for Ashaya (if you got tutors) turn 2 overblowing sounds nice (or every land enter tapped?) or even other version that gets all lands from your graveyard like Aftermath Analyst
